Ok I get the Banana and coffee what the heck is the Fosters all about. What flavor is Foster? Vanilla? Caramel? Help a brotha out here!!!!

Sometimes I have a hankering for what I call white trash Bananas Foster. I melt a little butter in a skillet, toss in a palmful of brown sugar and let it caramelize. Then I toss in a couple of sliced nanners and a bit of chopped pecans (or almonds) and cook till coated and the nanners are heated thru. Yummy Oh yeah...and a light sprinkle of cinnamon!

Ya, and serve that delicious mess on top of vanilla ice cream. Oh Em Gee. Yum

Do yourself a favor. If you like ice cream, go get a pint of Haagen Daz Bananas Foster. You get a great idea of what it's supposed to taste like without cooking yourself. Warning though, bigger butts and guts can result.
