I have a couple of concerns. First, has the GJ formula changed at all? I ask, because I've noticed 1/2 through the 30ml bottle, I get no flavor whatsoever. Cleaned out atty, used a new one, nothing worked. Just no flavor. Even smelling the bottle, it no longer had the strong banana smell, like it did before. I keep my bottles sealed tightly, with no direct sunlight exposure. Being that the juice is VG, the throat hit leaves something to be desired, even at 24mg. Any thoughts, on making a pg version, of GJ? That would really make this juice the ultimate not to be reckoned with, I smoke this all day and night, it's like crack to a crack head juice!! :headbang: Simply put, please make a PG version.

You're probably burning out on it if that is all you vape. I've experienced this before with GJ. I vaped it non-stop for like a week then I couldn't taste it at all anymore. I rotated through a few other flavors for a week and a half and came back to it, then fell in love with it all over again.

My advice is to give your taste buds a break for a week, then come back to it. I think you'll be surprised.

I've heard this alot and most of the time it's because people don't shake their juice before vaping...gotta keep it shook up really good because flavors can separate from VG/PG.
Very good point, at one point I was getting too much heat from it because I wasn't shaking it. I'd say it's more the flavoring, as this particular juice doesn't have PG.

I did try that. I went back to my Halo Torque 56, for over a week. Went back to GJ, and it still didn't have flavor.

I always shake my juices, prior to refilling. Didn't help.

I second Andyman's comments... you've probably blown out your taste buds. This happens to me with just about any juice I vape too much, which is really easy to do with such a wonderfully flavored juice as GJ.

Well, what I'm going to do next time, is order GJ, with a flavor boost. Sucks for me, because I only have 2 go to juices. GJ, and Torque 56. So, if one doesn't do good, I've only got one other option. I need to expand my juice collection, but I have been disappointed so many times, and it's money wasted, on juice I end up not using.
Shaking it up before dripping it is also a good habit to get into.

If that's the case, then your guess is as good as mine. If you had flavor through the first half of the bottle, it wouldn't make sense that it would suddenly be gone...

That's what I'm saying. Anyhow, I ordered another 30ml bottle, with a flavor boost. I'll update this thread, when I try it.

Just an update, the same thing happened again. I'm thinking the bottle is losing flavor, over time. Anyhow, until Alien vision comes out with a pg/vg, mix, I'm not going to order it again.

I think you're missing the point of their mission. If I'm not mistaken, Alien Visions started creating juice with those in mind whom are sensitive, or allergic to PG.

Also, when buying the bigger bottles, it's important to shake the bottle often.

I did not know that about them, I guess you learn something new everyday. Shaking the bottle didn't work for me. I've also noticed that the smell from the bottle, is getting weaker, and weaker. Which leads me to believe, that the flavor is evaporating, hence the muted taste.

Try it in a Genesis atty, there is banana flavor in the juice. Think about it. If you taste it initially, then you don't taste as you vape more, where would the flavor go?

I don't know anyone that has one of those, that would let me try this juice in. I somewhat agree with the theory, that perhaps my taste buds, are so used to this juice, that I can no longer taste it. But if that was the case, then why doesn't the flavor come back, when I stop using it for a while?

I know what you are saying. I am halfway through a 100ml bottle and it just doesn't taste right to me in anything I put it in anymore. I am thinking of putting the 50 ml left up for sale or trade for Boba's. I am sure it is me but if I can't taste it, no real reason to vape it.

I feel better, knowing that I'm not the only person going through this. :p

It's not a theory. It's called saturation and it is a fact. You have saturated your taste buds with the flavoring used in the GJ.

* Drink more water
* Switch your juice up for AT LEAST a couple hours if not for the day
* Think about diversifying your pallet with 2 or 3 more flavors and keep them in a rotation to avoid saturation
* Keep in mind that if you switch to another juice and it uses some of the same flavorings (like from gorilla juice to bounty) as the juice you have saturated your taste buds with, those tones will be muted until you cleanse your pallet.

I bought 60 ml and had to let it sit for awhile because I was the same way. From now on I will buy it in 30ml bottles.

That is also what I'm going to start doing with juices, that I like. Besides, I don't go through juice super fast, another reason to stick with the 30ml bottles.

I too have noticed this with GJ which I love and have bought a ton of. I buy the little 12ml bottles from a local shop and I have noticed the bottles are really filled when I first get em making shaking (mixing) difficult. But even with vigorous shaking it always seems there are bubbles at the top of the liquid in the bottle indicating sugary/sweet goodness. I think what is happening is the sweetness and flavor is at the top of the bottle not mixing right. Probably because I'm so dang excited to get it in a carto or atty and that it just doesn't mix easily/quickly. I don't shake but for maybe 10 or 15 seconds. So maybe I'm pouring out a lot of the flavor initially, and then the rest of the bottle is then off moving forward no matter how much shaking you do.

I have been there. I buy banana too. I have noticed it doesn't really mellow out until it is like three weeks old. So if you like the fresh taste, it will be gone in a couple of weeks. And if you get it too many watts it leeches some flavor out as well.

Oh, and I don't see how you can really shake a full bottle. Its full and the stuff can't move around much. I have had the phenomena a few times. The larger bottle of something I get, the less good it seems to be. Some of it surely is tastebuds but I'm not convinced the entire effect is.
