Hi people!

Love the EVODs! Get the odd cracked tank now and again.

I've been using the same atomiser heads that come with them for a while now. Also ordered some more from fast tech.

But I've heard it's quite easy re wicking them your self and it always give a better cape and flavour.

So I want to give it a go!

Only problem is I have no idea what to buy and where to get it.

I know I need some wick silica? And wire?

I've been looking on eBay but there are so many thickness available.

Anyone give me some links to some places I can get what I need?

http://www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com/products/Ribbon-Wire.html Here you go mate, take your pick :) if you are going for ekowool don`t get the 3mm it will be way too thick for an evod.

Would you suggest the:

Special Bundle A - Various Mesh, Wire and Wick Products - Ideal For Beginners

Price: £10.00 (Including VAT at 20%)

It depends mate,

If you only want it for evod heads, i would say just go for some wick and wire. But the bundle packs are a good bargain.

Another vote for what Terry said, I got 50m kanthal wire for under £9 with postage and it arrived next day.
When you had a few goes at it, why not try using organic cotton balls for wick material - it's cheap, bag of 100 would last ages and ages and gives a lovely clean tasting vape :)
I need to try the ekowool myself soon!

Ok so my replacement EVOD atomisers and 5 new EVOD tanks have arrived yet from FT.. It was sent on the 06-11-2013 and has been stuck on the same status since then on the tracking page.

So i guess I need to rebuild my current Evod heads for the xmas period.

I would ideally need the the materials delivered before xmas and seeing how royal mail are on top form at the moment i'm not sure when i would get the stuff!

B]Who do i go with? [/B]

So i would only need to get 1 mm ekowool and 32 gauge kanthal

Ok they have tons of choice once you click in the wire section!

Can't seem to see .32mm Wire.. or I'm being thick!

options are:

0.1mm Thickness Kanthal A1 Ribbon Wire - Various Sizes

0.08mm Thickness Kanthal A1 Ribbon Wires - Various Sizes

0.05mm Thickness Kanthal A1 Ribbon Wire - Various Sizes

then once going into any of these there hundreds of more options.

Help LOL.

Kanthal A1 Heat Resistance Wire - 0.2mm Diameter (200 Micron or 32 AWG) - 50 Metre Spool

Not sure you want 50 metres though! If you're gonna be rewicking lots though it'll be handy :)

Oh, might be worth grabbing a small length of silica aswell as ekowool and some cotton balls so you can figure what you find easiest to work with and what tastes best to you as well.

haha no i'm not starting a coiling business!

1 or 2 metre should do me ok.

So i need silica and ekowool.

Might as well get what I need now instead of buying bits slowly.

Would it be worth you getting a sample pack with small amounts of different gauge wire and ribbon and small amounts of different wicking material? You might not use it all, but it would be a good way of finding out your preferences cheaply and then bulk order what worked best for you?

I recoiled my protanks in a bid to be economic and when I tried them with cotton wicks that was it, I recoiled brand new replacement heads as I liked the vape so much!
