Yes BG, the mini zmax has ability to read ohms - this just reminded me to print off the menu functions and how to use for you! Will do it soon as the other half is done on laptop.
Are you making regular coils or micro?
If the evod heads are similar to protank heads, the 32 used to give me 2.2 - 2.5 ohms on a 5/4 wrap round a 2.2mm drill blank. 6/5 gave me around 2.8.
As long as your ohms are above 1.2 (shouldn't be a problem with 32 even if you did 4/3 wraps I'd imagine) then the zmax should fire it and you can increase or decrease the power to get your sweet spot with it.
Would you like me to chuck you a few feet of my 30ga wire to play with? Resistance is lower but much easier to manipulate the wire - I get the beauty of micro coils now lol!
Also organic cotton made all the difference to my vape. I need to get some ekowool though, I wanna just try it lol.
I don't fancy ss mesh just yet.

I don't know what a micro coil is lol!

I'm still trying to figure out what the actual difference a 2.5 ohms and 1.8ohm head are?. I set my Twist to 3.8 on both and can't tell the difference to be honest.

I'm trying to get hold of come organic wool too to have a go with!

I think il try a silica wick next see how I get on with coiling that.

You don't need to add anything more you have already been generous enough :)

Hopefully it'll be with you Monday and you can have a go at deciphering how to use it! Don't worry I give blondes a bad name with my duh moments so if I managed to suss it you will easy be able to and if you get stuck shout.
Difference between 1.8 and 2.5 should be in how the draw and vapour are. At 3.7 volts I like 1.8, but some juices taste better with higher resistance - that's the beauty of vv/vw, as long as your coil works, you should find your sweet spot whatever the resistance by adjusting the power.
Don't worry, I've already put a few feet of coil in, all packed and ready to go, I've got 50metres of the stuff and the rest was sat here going to waste, I'm just glad someone will get use of it and like I said if you don't like it pass it on or sell it, I'm just glad to help a vaper out - don't blame me when you join us on the Fasttech thread deciding what your next battery tube should be! Lol :)

Does my head in rebuilding coil heads. Much easier doing rdas. Anyway I get good results with 2mm ekowool, pop the wick on a skinny Allen key, burn it a little with a windproof lighter and wrap about 4/5 wraps with .2mm kanthal. Get around 2ohm. That's how I do my evods, but I wouldn't go much lower resistance as sometimes the rubber grommets melt.

I would recommend a multimeter, as it can help you spot shorts (the resistance will jump about), and test a coil before hand. A bad short can wreck a battery.
