Read: JoyE 510 says 220 mAh. Another says 190 mAh. Yet another says 180 mAh. What's the difference?

Will the length be different? I got these numbers ALL FROM JOYE 510 STARTER KITS, JUST FROM DIFFERENT WEBSITES.
WILL THE 220, AND 180 MAH FIT MY PCC FOR JOYE 510?

ALSO, if VOLTAGE ON THE 220 MAH is 3.3V AND 3.7V ON 180 MAH, what is THE DIFFERENCE?

WEBSITES as examples:

180 MAH: http://www.vaporalley.com/home/24-e-cig-kits/40-510-kits/88-510-starter-kit

190 MAH: http://www.vaporsetc.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=26&products_id=168

220 MAH: http://www.ecigbestsave.com/Joye-510-Auto-Kit-p/ka.htm

IF THESE NUMBERS ARE ALL RANDOM WHAT DOES A "STANDARD" JOYE 510 THAT DOESNT HAVE VOLTAGE/MAH WRITTEN ON IT COME WITH???
THANKS!!!!!

There are literally thousands of variations out there. If you tell us a little about how you much you smoke and what, in general, you're looking for in a PV (size, style etc.) maybe we could steer you in the right direction. A lot of us made some pricey mistakes on the way and we might be able to help you save a little money.
Good luck :)

Not all 'Joye' ecigs are genuine Joyetech products. As you have noted there are differences between these knockoffs. But 40 milliamps isn't all that much of a difference really, maybe 1/2 hour of use. Some 'feel' the difference between 3.4 and 3.7 volts, others not so much. I'd guess that the higher amperage ones are also the higher millamp rating so use time would be about the same as the lower voltage and less milliamps rating.

Volts = oomph. Like water pressure.
mAh = storage capacity. Like size of a water tank in gallons.
Ohms = resistance. Like resistance to water flow. How open is the valve? Lower # is lower resistance (hotter vape, more electricity flowing).

510 = threading (also a model).

There's all kinds of variations on the theme.

FYI = power, heat, watts = Voltage squared / resistance. So... 3.3v * 3.3v / 2.4ohms = 4.5375 watts heat whereas 3.7v * 3.7v / 2.4 ohms = 5.704 watts. Hotter. Also lowering the ohms for the atty/carto makes it hotter.

E-cigs are going to make electrical engineers out of alot of people...lol. But for people less electrically inclined it's a little harder. If you have a volt meter that can read DC voltage you can measure a charged battery and determine if it's 3.3 or 3.7volts. Trying to determine the MAH is harder, you don't know unless they write it on the battery.

The MAH rating is just the amount of charge the battery holds. Higher MAH means it will last longer between charges. It will not affect the amount of heat the coil produces. They may have different voltages, but MAH is still just a measure of the capacity of the battery.

The resistance or ohms is a measure of the heating coil in the carto or atomizer. And depending on your battery voltage will cause the coils to be hotter or cooler. AttyPops reference is a basic formula for determing wattage or in this case the amount of heat the coil will produce.

The length may vary between different battery types, but all the 510 apparatus should work with anything that is labeled 510.

As far as a standard goes, there are so many different combinations I doubt if there is a standard. You should find something that you can easily buy replacement parts for at a decent price. If you have a specific model in mind, email the website or try to find a store front shop to ask in person.

Good luck!

Is it genuine Joytech?

Is that okay?

Yep! At least for the kit.
Only Joyetech puts their name on the product.
Lots of other companies will use the name 'Joye' in the description but won't put that on the product, like the battery you ordered. But not to worry. Most folks haven't had problems with knockoff batteries.
