I still have a package of cigarettes in my purse with a couple in there. The few times I pulled it out thinking I would like a smoke, I have read the side listing some of the wonderful ingredients. This is a Canadian package of Vogue Slims Menthol.

Here is what it says:
Tar 3 - 24 mg,
Nicotine 0.4 - 2.1 mg,
Carbon monoxide 3 -23 mg.
Formaldehyde 0.013- 0.10 mg,
Hydrogen cyanide 0.032 -0.21 mg,
Benzene 0.022-0.069 mg

What a toxic stew! I know that's not all of it either. Not even close. So I put that pack away and shudder. I don't want to keep putting that into my body anymore. Funny that before I wouldn't have even bothered to read it or think about it. I think I might just cut that label out and keep it with me to remind me just what poisons I was smoking.
