I started vaping not too long ago and started with the typical ego battery which was a Joyetech ego-cc smart kit I got online. Then a kangertech mini protank 2 v2. It all works fine but I keep hearing and reading about vv and vw and how much more flavor and vape clouds one gets and so on. I have decided to take the next step and I really want a vv mod and I really like the Innokin svd I love the way it looks and all the reviews are pretty solid on it and I'm pretty much set on it at this point. Is there a reason I shouldn't go with the svd? I also need a little help figuring out what are good batteries and a good charger for it? Should I stack? Also what kind of tank system would be best for it. Like I said I started vaping not too long ago so I don't have everything down yet but I'd figured if I'm going to invest in thid I might as well get something better right now although I still plan to use my ego and clearomizers. Anyway any help would be great thanks in advance.

The svd is a great device, my buddy has one and i love vaping with it. Anything made by Innokin will be a great product. If you have the money i would highly suggest getting the ProVari, seems to be everyones favorite mod and i couldnt agree more. Some good batteries are the Sony 18650 VTC4, they the best/safest batteries on the market right now. As chargers go i would HIGHLY suggest the XTar VP1, or any XTar model. They may be abit more expensive but are alot safer. For a tank that is all personal preference, every likes different tanks so i would recommend buying a couple to see what you like, try the Kanger protanks or the iClear series tanks.

my wife and I started on Christmas day thanks to my son. Best thing that ever happened. I got my first mod today, it is a Tesla, it's big and kind of a cross between industrial and futuristic. I'm using an Aspire BDC tank on it. It is so fantastic. you can see it at

I'll probably end up buying another one next month for my wife. Either that or a Vamo

Hey if you want a better vape its not just about the VV setup. I use a mech mod without a kick so i dont even run regulated and get a great vape. There are videos on rebuilding Protank heads and I just started a few months ago rewicking them, HUGE improvement. Just built my first coil the other day, another huge improvement. Another device i use daily is my ibtanked carto tank and Boge LR cartos. They are easy to deal with and vape great consistently.

The SVD is fine if you like the looks and its in your price range. I dont think you would want to bother stacking unless you vape at a very high wattage, and if its your first mod you wont be doing that for a while. (Unless you start building your own coils)

I use AW IMR batteries primarily because they are the safest batteries out there. IMR batteries tend to vent more when they malfunction, where as your ICR type or other batteries tend to shoot 10 foot flames and explode violently.

The top 3 will all fit if your mod is telescoping, but the 18500 and 18650 i feel provide a better way, beyond the fact that VV mods burn though 18350s in a few hours on me. I would maybe get a few of each.

I use this charger

Those are where i bought mine, this stuff may be cheaper elsewhere (also fasttech will take a while to get to the states)

Get Sony vtc3or4's for sure, the i4 charger is dope, provari mini is my personal favorite with AW IMR 18350 s or the extended cap and the sonys, and you can get a kfl c Clone for the price of a carto tank and that will be the best vape of all, if you don't want to rebuild the provari with carto tanks is cool too, any Pyrex tank with metal end pieces will work, no use buying extravagant one they are all the same but hey one that is the same diameter as your mod. Look in the classifieds if you want a good price on a provari, they are bullet proof and OK to buy second hand. You will notice a difference in vape between the svd and the provari, provari will be more consistent.
