Been usin' the pre-filled cartos for about a month now. I think i'm ready to go with the ejuice fill your own. I'm with V4L.. any suggestions/tips would be awesome. Thanks!

It's really going to depend on what your preferences are. What flavors do you like? Keep in mind that the prefilled cartos DO NOT taste exactly like the ones you fill yourself. Is there a particular flavor that is your go-to vape?

I would suggest that you start with similar flavours that you vape now in your pre-filled cartos and also a few other flavours that you like as tastes in order to experiment.

Get many different flavours but in the smallest quantities available . Some vendors sell some sample packs which is a good way to start.

In that way you can experiment and find what is pleasing to you .

Taste is really subjective and someone else cannot really advise you on what you will like.
Try and see.

few questions....

1. Say I have an empty blueberry carto that was prefilled... can I fill it back up with blueberry eliquid without complication?
2. IF I need blank cartos (have tons of empty prefilled) How many blank cartos should I get to start off with?
3. Can you put the liquid in and immediately start vaping?
4. Can you mix two or more flavors together in a carto?
5. Do you have to clean cartos out from time to time?

Some answeres.

1)You sure can fill it up again with the same flavor, no matter who makes the juice.
2)Use those empty ones first. I used to vape SmokeTip, and could re use the empty carto's till the paper fell off.
3)if you fill them by putting the juice in the clear cap and pushing the carto in you sure can vape immediatly. be sure to wipe off any excess juice from the bottom or you risk killing any automatic type batteries.
4)If you want to mix flavors in a carto, mix them together first, then put the juice in. You can also put a different flavor in a carto, but I suggest a stonger flavor than originally used. I used to refill vanilla cartos with blacklicorice juice. Never knew the difference.
5)You can clean cartos, but for as cheap as they are and seeing as you have a lot of empties, I'd toss em when they start to get hard to vape. (the juice eventualy gunks up the heating element). If you realy need to pinch penies, There are a lot of ways to clean them, but to be honnest, they won't last much longer in my personal expierence.

Good luck. And great questions by the way.

Thank you for the knowledge, I'll be putting it to use. I ordered some waffle ejuice 18mg to fill up all my old waffle prefills. So you just open it up and pour the juice onto the cotton and it's done? I got tons of empties to fill.. like $200 worth, hehe. I got that many by testing a lot of flavors... should have started off with the fill-yer-own. I can't tell which ones are half empty and which ones are done, haha.

If you still have the clear rubber caps that come on the carto's, the easiest way to fill them is simply fill the rubber cap about 1/2 full of juice and push the bottom of the cartomizer into it. This forces the juice into the carto and fills it so fast and easy you will wonder why everyone doesn't do it. Use the cap end that does not have the rubber pin thing in it. If you only have caps that have that wierd rubber pin thingy in them, just pull on it till it breaks off and use it like that. If you don't have any clear rubber caps at all just drip the juice into the carto bottom(part that screws on) atleast 10 drops and up to 25. You will know its full when juice drips out the other end.

Now that the carto is full, roll it with your hand in a table top. Only need to do this for like 10 seconds. The centrificle force will force the juice through the carto filling and make for a smoother vape.

Hope this helps. you can see video of this technique on you tube. Just look up refilling e cig cartomizers.

Good luck. Hope this helps.:)

Not as clean as the guy says, wipe off your cartos afterward.

For used cartos, you just drip (not pour) into the filler slowly until you see it's saturated. Down the side and try avoiding the hole. It leads directly to your battery when it's connected. If you overfill, blow it out into a napkin until you hear it clear. (no gurgle)
