Alright, So I'm sick and ... tired of smoketip. Not consistent at all. The menthol is good sometimes, and others taste like pure chemicals. They obviously don't care, so they will lose a customer. Anyway... I want a good vaporizer, and a nice menthol e juice. Just wanted to hear what you guys thought as far as menthol juice, and a good vaporizer to use with it. aannnddd, go!

Thanks!

I recently got fed up with Smoketip as well. Their carts were so inconsistent. One cart would last all day, the next one about 20 minutes.
Right now I am using the empty carts and refilling with ejuice. I am about to make my first purchase and it looks like I will be going with the ego cc smart kit to start.
Good luck with finding something you like.

Next logical progression is an eGo style setup (of which I recently learned they AREN'T that bad actually!)...unless you wanna quit messing around and QUIT!

Head over to the library, 6 part pictorial introduction on the "new hotness" out there

The ECF Library

Depending on if you want a "tube form factor" or "box form factor" will point you in the direction of the next step you want

I started on a Vamo V3, it is what got me to actually quit smoking, but after further learning and seeing all the different rigs out there determined I wanted the culmination of the technologies in one...thus I have a MPV2 inbound

Innokin iTaste MVP V 2.0 Brief Introduction

Good luck and Vape On!!!

Might be time to look into YOUR vaping technique ;)

Exactly.... it's so annoying. About to return 5 ten-packs, with 1 cart taken out of each (kept hoping that the next would be better)....

I'm gonna do a little research tonight and hopefully order soemething. This smoketip is pure crap

Damm that mvp has one hellova battery huh!! The only thing I'm gonna miss is the no-handed smoking that comes with the cig-a-like, but i guess this way it wont be attached to my face :)

Something like this will blow away your cig-a-like. Personally, I'd go with Twists and Evods. Or a bit more fiddly, would be a Twist with a carto tank. Much better vape, but a bit of a learning curve.

I've moved away from tobacco menthols, but vape Mount Baker Vapor's Extreme Ice daily. It's straight menthol with a hint of mint. Looks like it's out of stock right now though.

Thanks for the advice... You know, I don't really care about the tobacco taste, I like the menthol anyways (i used to smoke camel crush). That is bookmarked and I'll have to try it once it's in stock (and i have something to vape it with).

Wow this forum rocks!!

Edit, when i got smoketip there were cartridges/atomizer and cartomizers.... not there are clearomizers , Man i feel like a grampa with an iPad1 over here!!!

This is my go-to recommendation for most newcomers, but the aforementioned build-your-own-kit is also cool.

If you're willing to skip eGo-style batteries, my next recommendations would be the iTaste MVP2 (also previously mentioned; comes with internal battery, charger, and even a tank... and if you get it here, some juice) or the Sigelei Zmax v3 (only $42 here, but you'd need to get batteries, charger, and juice attachments).

As for menthol, I wasn't a menthol smoker, but I have been digging some menthol juices. I especially like it with fruit. If you haven't already done so, give it a whirl with banana, apple, peach, blueberry, or some other fruit. (I've got some Mister-E Liquid "Banana Ice" and Namber Juice "Glacier Banana" in my stash.) You might also want to try other flavors that have a hint of menthol, such as Mt Baker's "Hawk Sauce." (One of the the things I like about Mt Baker is how customizable the juice is-- not only your choice of nicotine level, but your choice of PG/VG ratio, your choice of extra flavor shots, and even a build-your-own juice option.)

Ok I think I'm going to order an MVP2 kit right now. What would I want to get for spare parts? Just another tank? I don't see atomizers.....

Basically If I were to order now, enough to last me say, a month, what would I need to get as far as spare parts, replacement parts, etc? I'll get enough juice so that wont be a problem.

Also, can i just pop the tank that comes with the MVP2 on a eGo battery and make it a little more portable?

Thanks guys!!! (and gals)

It's a big investment, but one that very few people regret making. Made in the USA and excellent customer service record.

Ya that one is a little too rich for my blood at the moment. If it was hands down 100 times better than anything else, I might go for it, but from what it sounds like, I might be just as happy with an MVP2?

I haven't been using the iClear30, so I don't know much about the coils, but replacement coil heads are definitely available. Personally, I would recommend having at least two tanks of some kind.

"Just as happy" kind of depends on what you want from the experience. We all want something a little different from the products we use, you know? The MVP is a great mod for the money. It's not the same thing as a ProVari. :)

Thanks to everyone, I'm starting with the MVP 2 (battery life huge plus since I drive around all day)

I think if I want some extra portability I'll grab an eGo, but honestly 2600mh battery can't be that big... my note3 has a higher capacity and it isnt very large.

Glad I found this forum and thanks to everyone who chimed in :) I'll be around often for sure ;)

now, off to find some nice menthol juice WOOT
