I've never seen a J-Wrapped Protank. I hope you post pictures.

Ocelot, they actually look pretty nice on the ProTanks, especially with the matching wrap on the VAMO (it just arrived a few hours ago). I will definitely post pictures to show off my new pride and joy!

On a side note, I am actually surprised this J-Wrap is still sticking to the VAMO. I had to peel it off and reapply it several times because I kept getting it crooked. It's holding up so far though. I even considered maybe using a hair dryer on a very light setting just to sort of heat the J-Wrap up a bit to help it bond a bit better (with batteries removed from VAMO of course).

The Vamo is a great choice! You might want to try a couple carto tanks.

I considered trying one out, but I've never been too fond of cartos. Every one I have tried seems like I can taste the filler and don't get the nice vape clouds like I do with clearos. Do you have any favorite cartos that you could recommend? Who knows, maybe I may like them after all.

You will also love a few dripping atomizers,i just tried dripping and I AM BLOWN AWAY,with a bridgless atty there is no fiddling with wicks and coils, just PURE clean taste and MASSIVE vapour and perfect TH....I LOVE DRIPPING.

I am definitely ready to experiment more with dripping. The most I have ever done is using a VOLT carto with the filler removed to taste test my DIY juices. I also have a basic 510 atomizer that I use sometimes, but it's not much different than my rigged up VOLT carto.

I have a couple RBAs on the way from Fast Tech, and I also have one of those e-Skillets from SCVapors (basically the same thing but marketed for dry herb and wax vaping), but it showed up DOA. They were awesome though and offered to send me a new one out right away.

Just curious, what is the difference between the RBAs and a bridgeless? I was thinking they were the same thing, but I noticed you mentioned bridgeless atomizers do not have wicks or coils.

Wrapped Protanks?

Yeah I didn't think I would like them at first, but they do look great on top of my VAMO. The wrap covers the glass, but it does have two small window slits for seeing inside the tank. The only downside is that it can be difficult to see in there unless you are in a very well lit place.

I'll definitely get some pics posted sometime this weekend.

I would think the Protank wraps would fall off, they tend to heat up when chain vaping.

They have actually held up surprisingly well so far. I even got them wet when I rinsed out my ProTanks a few times already, but it hasn't seemed to bother them. I'm sure they won't hold up forever, but I just wanted that extra bit of protection for the glass on the tanks with as clumsy as I can be sometimes.

I'd have suggested to buy just 1 of each type of clearo and see if you like them.

Basylica, I totally get what you're saying. The only reason I bought so many T3s were because I've already been using them for quite a while now, be it the 808 version from Smokeless Image. I haven't tried the evods yet but that is on the list for my next round of purchases once I get all this stuff paid off.

I have a mini Vivi Nova that I have been using for a while now. I like it, but geez does it guzzle the juice! I mean it only holds 2ml of juice, but I can literally drain a full one in a matter of 2-3 hours, whereas a full T3 will last me all day. The ProTanks seem to last me a good half day or so before I have to switch out for a fresh one.

After trying the ProTanks though, I suddenly have lost the urge to use either of the others. I just got those to use while I'm out going to the store or gigging with my band so I don't end up breaking my ProTanks.

Link, please! "1 4oz sampler of almost every TFA flavor w/ glass droppers and pipette"

Chellemmm, I may have misled you a bit with that one. It wasn't an actual sampler pack. I just went nuts ordering the 4oz bottles of every flavor I came across lol. For like $1.40 a piece, I couldn't resist. This has also been a gradual process, and it has taken me 3 or 4 orders from TPA to build up this arsenal of flavors I now have. Now I just need a bigger tackle box to hold all these glass bottles...:p

first vape off a pro tank and you will never look back...seriously

I could not agree more! And the best thing is there are no leaks or gurgles at all so far. I have NEVER had a clearo/tank/carto that didn't have these problems at least every once in a while. They are definitely worth the extra cash over the T3 and the Vivi Nova in my opinion.

I vape an AGA-T2 with a mesh wick with a 1.5 ohm wrap on the Vamo,i think its too much vapour, cant see nothing after a vape.:vapor:

Now that's what I'm talking about! I cannot wait to get started building my own atomizers. When my band plays out they already joke that we don't need a fog machine with me around. They're in for a big surprise lol!

Lol idk if you noticed but i posted that pic because i wrapped both my Protanks with vinyl, but i left the windows open =) Ive had the wrap on there for ages and its fine, so you shouldnt have an issue with it staying put

I have a Vapor Skinz (same as a J-Wrap) around here somewhere, but I haven't used it. I make my own wraps and the adhesive on J-Wraps should be tacky enough to wrap and rewrap a few times if you don't get anything on the sticky side. I doubt heat will make it tighter (although maybe it has for you, I haven't seen a J-Wrap in person), the vinyl and adhesive I use (and what's on the Skinz) would just get stickier if I applied heat.

I don't taste the filler so it's not a problem for me. I couldn't ever get clearos to work right. If they're working for you, stick with 'em!
