Thanks everyone....I really like my provari...now I just need to get to setting a quit date and preparing for it....guess it's time for another fsusa order....i think i need to try some new flavors....

Everyone has to find their own way out of the wilderness, of course, but white-knuckling it—setting quit dates, gritting your teeth, steeling yourself for an ordeal of self-denial, beating up on yourself for every momentary lapse—didn't work for me.

Relaxing, setting no schedules, immersing myself in the vaping culture until the smoldering Marlboro dropped from my fingers of its own natural accord—that worked.

Nothing could be truer. I still keep a pack of cigarettes in my pocket at work. I don't smoke at work anymore, just vape. But the day I didn't have it in my pocket, I kept thinking about it... and ended up smoking. So, I keep that pack on me during work hours. Yesterday, I forgot to put it in my pocket and didn't smoke... because it was just out in the car.

My non-smoking friends think it is weird that I have them. They harp on me about smoking because I have them -- that makes quitting harder because they keep bringing it up -- but, I feel better having them and it is ALL ABOUT ME! ;-)

I agree with LD and PI, you will do it in your own time and your own way. You have been through quite a bit lately and it's only natural that you reached for something that is familiar. Just take it one day at a time and you will find that each time you use your Provari, it's one less time that you light up. Before you know it, that will become your familiar and smoking will become less and less appealing. I quit 10 months ago as of today and even though I haven't touched a cigarette since Dec 23, I still haven't emptied the ash tray in my car and there is still a pack of cigs in my night stand with 2 cigs still in it. Just like LD, I get comments about the ash tray in my car but when I'm ready, I'll empty it for the last time. Some day, you will put out your last cigarette and never look back but until then, take it at your own pace and that day will come before you know it. : )
