I was using the 3MM ReadyXwick in my Taifuns & was very happy with the vape. Then I heard about the Cellucotton & thought I would try that out. Works great but had a slight bit of flooding once in awhile. I was on the fence on which one I liked the best.
With the 3MM ReadyXwick I had to wrap my kanthal on the wick (with a paper clip through the center of the ReadyXwick). I could never be able to just thread it through & tried several times.
I had some of the 2MM ReadyXwick laying around so I got the idea to wrap a bit of the cellucotton around the wick & then thread it into my coil. OMG!!! What a vape!!! Now I found the best of both worlds. Ease of putting the wick in & taking the ReadyXwick out periodically for a dry burn & that great vape of the cellucotton.
I wrapped just enough of the cellucotton (from Sally's) around the 2MM wick so that when I insert it into the coil, I get a slight tension, but still able to move it back & forth.
Thought I would share my experiment with everyone.
