Real Cost Shipped

Have been using my PV for over a year now & buying PV's from everywhere.
My question is "what is the REAL COST of the product shipped"?
Everyone chases the lowest price, & having done this my self, I have found using a quality vendor here in the US will cost the same, or less, than form venodrs outside the US.
Bought a Vamo from Zainy.com in China because it had the best price.
Ordered the PV on 12/13/12. It is now 1/23/13 & the product hasn't arrived yet.
Also when figuring the price + shipping the REAL COST is about $4.00 more than from most US vendors.
So why buy from China when the cost difference is so small & the wait for the PV is so long?
Go figure your own REAL COST in ordering from outside the US when figuring shipping in.

I always calculate shipping before I buy. I can get cheaper and faster deals from places like Health Cabin than from US vendors. Haven't used Zainy - just like I haven't used US vendors that are not registered forum suppliers or who don't have at least some good reports on their service and shipping times.

You don't get your orders shipped via slow boat from China as we do.
Also You guys don't have as many political issues with China as we do.

personally i wont buy from over sea's anymore regardless of the price difference,last time i ordered some IMR's from over there it took nearly two months to get them, just ridiculous.
not to mention most the stuff from over there is a knockoff of a knockoff and by the time you get the items it is too late to get a refund or dispute the charge on your credit card if you get scammed.
its just easier and safer to order from the usa if you live here.

I don't lump all Chinese vendors into one though Louis. Just like the US vendors - some are better than others. There's a big difference between Health Cabin and VaporBreak in China, for example. There's a big difference between Mad Vapes and Maximum Vapors in the US for another example.
Both countries also have scam vendors.
I calculate the shipping and also research the vendor. I know some US vapers used DHL when ordering from Health Cabin and it still worked out a good deal. For me, when I bought a lot of stuff in their Christmas sale, and spread the DHL cost across that - I still got a great deal, and the order arrived in 3 days. I agree with the point in your first post - work out the total cost.
I don't know what you mean exactly by "political issues" - I expect we have the same concerns on that level, while still importing plenty of Chinese goods, as the US does too.
