Return it immediately.

OR - take a deep breath and tell us what you got. If you purchased a kgo or ego manual battery you will need to click the button 5 times to get it to turn on. Sometimes people forget that. Also - check your outlets and make sure it is not faulty first. Its pretty common to have one plug in on an outlet to be not working and the other work fine, especially in an older home.

Instructions are pretty slim in most devices these days. but often you can find it on line. ECF is really the only owners manual you need. :)

If you choose to send it back - there are tons of vendors to choose from. I have ordered from Hoosiers, Virgin Vapor and Got vapes - all are great vendors. Virgin replaced a DOA battery for me too. there are many more wonderful vendors - check out the vendors review board on this form

The 5 click thing is somewhat new. It has ...... a few people off for the same reasons as you, but it is a handy feature, especially when carrying around extra batteries. Glad you got it figured out. Let us know if you have any more questions and how your vaping experience is going.)

Older Ego have a 12 sec auto shutoff and the newer ones have a 7 sec shutoff. Are you using the "tank" system/ atomizer+ cartridge?

Thanks SS, I sure appreciate it & yeah I was getting ....... I mean even just a little card that says push button x5... can you tell me if it has an auto shut off?

It automatically shuts off your the atomizer while taking a puff. That is so you don't burn it out. It doesn't turn off the whole battery to where you have to do the 5 click thing again. In fact, as long as you don't click it 5 times really fast you won't have to worry about turning the whole battery on or off again. That sounds confusing, but hopefully you will understand what I am trying to say.

5 click off/on is good for carrying it in your pocket. You don't have to worry about it firing when you sit down.

You will also notice that the charger light blinks green every few seconds. You won't notice that at first, but one day you will and might think it's a malfunction. While charging, the LED is red with a tiny green flash periodically. That green flash is the charger switching over to voltage check mode (green) and back to red (charge). When the battery is charged, it will stay green.

If you are using cartos, they need to be thoroughly saturated on the first fill. Either continue to drip juice in the open end until it won't take anymore, then wait a few minutes to see if the filler turns white again. If it does, drip more until it looks slushy. Wait some more and drip again, then let it sit. Repeat the process until the filler stays a gray color indicating saturation.

Or you can use this method. Cartos these days need to sit longer than they used to. Absorption is slow.

Thanks again everyone, I am getting the hang of it now & wow it is awesome. Beats any e-cig I ever tried, maybe I can finally quit smoking!!! I am excited. TJ, there was no packaging at all it was just put in the carry case with nothing else. Made me feel like an idiot, but you all saved the day! Thanks so much!! I understand that more paper can be a waste & all, but frick a small little card would have answered my few questions. I didn't know there was an online support team at first. Thanks for all of your tips. Have an awesome Wednesday! I love this thing...

Hiya Night! I just upgraded to an eGo last night too! Had a Bloog for the last month, which met my needs for the first few weeks. I wasn't getting quite the TH I needed anymore though so I knew it was time for a 1 month Vapeversery toy! lol Loving it so far! Glad you figured out that 5 click thingy..it took me a minute to get it too..but if it weren't for these peeps here, I'd have been lost;)

I ordered my first drip tip over a year ago. When it came in, it was a plastic cylinder with threads on one end and a tiny hole in the cap. I tried to pull off the cap using my fingers with no success. I emailed the supplier for information. Later I got a reply back after I had figured it out.

You have to screw the drip tip atomizer onto a battery to grip the threaded end while you wiggle the cap until it comes off. It's such a tight fit that you think you are going to break something the first time it comes off. After that, it gets easier. A sheet of paper with a few words and a picture would be helpful. ;)

ROFL. Just .... ROFL.... but in a good way. We've all been there or similar.

You're absolutely right...cheat sheet at minimum.

It gets to be even more fun. Don't lose your login. :)

Glad it's starting to work for you. Keep that sense of humor going. If you decide it's working for you, take some of the savings and get some backups for your backups.

Welcome to ECF.
:)
