Nope. Only thing to watch out for are hotspots on a new coil, so pulse it until it is uniformly orange-yellow and allow it to cool, and repeat until the coil heats uniformly.
To reach a temperature which is dangerous enough to release dangerous fumes you would have to be inhaling across red hot glowing coils as they "popped" at over 2000°F. Essentially, You're not able to ever reach that temperature during usage even during a dry hit, which is one of the many reasons SS is becoming more widely used in vaping.
