"Sin" taxes have always been popular, I'm not sure if they will tax vaping because if it becomes FDA approved one day (which I do believe it will, perhaps not before it is banned while they do the testing) then it would put it on par with the patch and nicotine gum which do not have the sin tax against them.

Those sin taxes get approved easily because they are often guilty pleasures. We know we shouldn't be smoking or drinking so it's shameful to fight back.

A politician has to have at least two things....a source of money and a whipping boy to demonstrate his governing prowess. Smokers fit the bill for both.....and very easy targets. But while the anti-smokers cheered and yelled "go get em", they failed to realize that sooner or later...they would run out of smokers or tax to the point of diminishing returns (like now)...and need new whipping boys. Who are they? All those anti-smokers who also happen to have a habit in their closet like alcohol or fast food.

I have a smoke nazi co-worker who thinks it is great that cig taxes went through the roof and everyone had to hide in the bushes to smoke. But he can't seem to understand why I don't care if the government taxed fast food heavily because the country is obese. You see....he regularly eats in Macdonalds and Burger King and I rarely eat fast food anywhere. I said tax the hell out of those Big Macs.

In short....be careful what sin tax you support. Sooner or later, they will get to something you enjoy, and nobody will care. ;)

It's not a major chore to buy over the internet. The problem is that I am not real good at planning ahead or waiting for a delivery. :D

I've always been a "I need it now, go buy it now" type of person. Hell...the last car I bought I just wandered into the dealership, and drove out with a new car two hours later. Like I said earlier....instant gratification person. However, I am getting better at being patient. :D

That's one thing that takes some getting used to with e-cigs - planning ahead, making sure you have enough of everything. I think I'm set now for over a year, so that shouldn't be a problem. But I'll keep buying stuff :D

We buy more things online now than in person, by a wide margin. We even order our groceries online. I keep thinking I should be able to claim our UPS guy and mailman as dependents.

I found my Corvette on eBay - but it happened to be at a local dealer. Not sure if I'm ready to buy a car online, but I have considered it.

After a couple orders its easy to build up a stock pile. Once the juice starts flowing, they get stocked up with the 20 and 30mls it will be even easier. Using a few tips found in this forum on cleaning your carts and refilling they last a long time. Then you just end up going nuts trying new flavors and wanting different batteries.

Reward is Directly Proportional to Risk.

There's no way anything as large as the potential tax revenue for e-cigs will remain banned for terribly long. Look at Prohibition. Taxed at a rate similar to cigarettes? Absolutely. Banned permanently? Naw, too many people stand to make too much money, and therefore - so does the government.
