Catro tanks tend to be bigger than clearo. I use IBTanked. What they hold is listed below.

Q: How much do the tanks hold?

A: Note that the below is approximate and we are conservative with our numbers. We do not count what goes into the cartomizer and leave a little room at the top but these are very good estimates on how much liquid our tanks will hold.
•15mm HalfLing =
•15mm Standard=
•15mm XL =
•19mm HalfLing = 0.7ml
•19mm Standard= 1.5ml
•19mm XL = 2ml
•22mm HalfLing = 1.2ml
•22mm Standard = 3ml
•22mm XL = 4.5ml
•25mm HalfLing = 2ml
•25mm Standard = 5ml
•25mm XL = 8ml

A blog about the use of carto tanks:

Ths size for the VTR is 19mm XL. I think the Vamo is 22mm?

Just do what I did.

I have 8 deep cycle marine batteries in series on a cart wired into a space heater with a thick bath towel wicking from a 1 gallon bucket of my favorite juice. I rigged up a nice aluminum funnel as a smoke chimney leading to an oxygen mask that you can get at any medical supply store.

The only tricky part was deciding what temprature to set the space heater at but once you get it set up you can vape for daaaaays!

Sorry .. it's been one of those days.

You should exactly like me when I quit smoking. I'd "drain" a Protank 2 twice a day pretty easily and that was using 24mg juice. The thing to remember is even though the listed capacity of the Protank is 2.5-3ml, don't recall which, only about 2/3 of that is really usable so if you do go with a bigger tank set up you'll probably find you're not using as much as you really think you are.

I'm using an IBTanked 22mm XL right now which has a 5ml capacity and based on my experience with Protanks I was skeptical about how often I'd have to fill it. What I've found is I really vape somewhere around 3 to 3.5ml a day and not the 5 or 6ml I'd have thought based on how often I was topping off the Protanks.

YMMV but before you buy a backpack for your tanks or build my dream build above you might want to try a carto tank and see what you're really using.

If you want to stick with clearomizer/glassomizer bcc style tanks, then the Aspire Nautilus is probably the one to try. I have herd a few complaints from people using 100% vg with it, but it handles my 80/20 and 50/50 blends with no problems, and is rated for 5 ml. I can actually fit around 5.5 ml in mine with no problem. Otherwise go with an IBTanked carto tank. You can easily get one that holds 5-8 ml if you go with an XL and a larger diameter.

Love the Taifuns.
Nikkita...how does it look on the vela?

It looks sexy of course ;-) .. it is perfectly flush in diameter, and top mount, and the vape is gosh darn good! I built it with ss mesh, and a 3mm wick across the top, and the draw, and vaper production is PERFECT! Not disappointed at all.

Will throw up some pics soon in the China love thread! :p
