Ya know I tried one of the erolls last year and I didnt like it. It would dry hit constantly. I'm not a fan of that joye atty systems, it just wasnt reliable for me. I ended up buying a Magma kit from Volcano ecigs. I read a lot of good things about it and it seemed to produce good vapor. Its got a nice charge pack too similar to the blu (which i hated that ecig). They are 510 connection too so I can grab some boge cartos when the ones that come with it go bad, but overall it looked like it was pretty nice.

That is cool to hear! I vaped nothing but Volcano hardware and juice for 1-2 years.

which kit did u have from volcano? how'd it perform for you?

Oh, I tried them all. *takes a deep breath*

I started with their (now discontinued) Volcano kit. It was an 808 I think, and it was before they had cartomizers. So it had separate atomizers, and cartridges with a TINY juice well and foam. Not very satisfying.

Next I got their Magma, but at the time they didn't have their Magma cartomizers yet, so it was like a 510-T tank system. Pretty reliable and I liked it. A little fussy though. It was like the eRoll's grandfather. ;)

Then it was on to the Inferno (which is like their Ego's). I started with their Inferno tanks because I thought they'd just be like the Magma tanks but with more capacity, but unfortunately the increased plastic muted the flavor and vapor... a lot.

Lastly, I jumped to the Lavatube 1.5 (the chrome one) and then the Lavatube 2. Both trustworthy.

I don't own any of their stuff anymore, but it was a good run. Plus I had a lot of fun in their community (before they closed their chat room).

*keeps vaping his Halo*

Stick batteries? NO. I won't touch any ICR batteries. Cartos? Oh yea! 5 days a week at work.

My wife switched to White Cloud Fling Mini disposables after 3 years of vaping on various mods, etc. She likes the form factor.
I've got a stash of those in the freezer for when I want to feel that old cigarette-like experience.
Those things are great but I find them a bit too inconsistent to rely on when out and about.

I love my Blu still. I started with that four years ago and now most of the time use my 14500 hybrids. I use the Blu's when I go out to bars/restaurants or somewhere I am worried of losing or breaking my nice Pvs. I use the Blu's cartos and refill when empty. I really like the amount of vapor I get from them. I use them more as a social distraction for myself since I vape 0mg now. I never have found a vanilla I like better than vivd vanilla.

Couldn't say I'm a veteran: 12 weeks, but I started with a few different starter kits of the small e-cigs. My favourites ended up V2 and GreenSmoke. (Smart Cigs & Jac were the others).
I had a few decent flavours, mostly GreenSmoke and V2, but did like the Gold tobacco from Smart Cigs.

I didn't want to move away from them either, but after around a month it became apparent that I was sensitive to PG, and I couldn't find any VG cartridges here in the UK. I'd tried refillable cartridges and didn't have a lot of success with them.
I found the V2 batteries the best.

So, I moved on to Kanger EVOD and eSmart. They're fine and quite easy to use, but only last week, I realised how much I'd liked the smaller ones.
I still have my small cig type batteries in use and using clearomisers on most of them. Nice for smaller amounts of lesser used liquids. But, it's the easy nature of changing a cartridge and discarding the old one ...so simple.
Yesterday, we went out for dinner and the item I took with me was a GreenSmoke cig battery with a Red Label light tobacco cartridge - yes it's PG/VG, but for short while use it doesn't give me any problems. So easy to pop this in my jeans pocket!

I see Blu have the Johnsons Creek VG liquid in their cartridges, and if I could get those here I would, and would likely use the smaller cig style ones more often! I know the cartridges make it cost more, but I did like their easy use.
I also saw the smaller ones that Joyetech have but think I still prefer the batteries I already have.

I actually think I inhale too much with the bigger battery models too and can get quite wheezy at times.

I'm no veteran by any means but I have been off of analogs for the a bit over a year now. I am still using a vision spinner and 2 ego style 900mah batteries. I pair them with a protank 2 and a couple Vivi Novas. Though I do crave to improve the throat hit and vapor production in my ecig life, I really don't want to move away from the cylinder form because it is more acceptable to both my likings and more socially accepted where I live.

Two years and I still use eGo style batteries and tanks. I am just not buying in to the mech-mod thing quite yet, as I have always loved the way a solid eGo style feels and hits in my pocket. At the moment I am using a Vision Spinner 1300mah with an Air Control Valve connecting the a ProTank 3. Absolutely love it.. love, love, love it!

As far as cig-a-likes, I still have a pack of the Fin e-cigs, and totally dig taking a pull off of them every now and then when I'm in the mood for that oak-ish tobacco taste. It can't replace my daily rig, but I will take it out on the patio every couple of days and smoke on it for a few minutes, just for something different.

I have a vamo, and use my nemesis with kayfun on it most the time, but say I'm somewhere I want to be discrete; I'll use my V2 analog like ecig. They even came out with little mini ce4 like devices that screw in, so you can use your own custom eliquids in them. They work excellent. It's definitely not my all day vape, but gotta keep the repertoire in rotation for specific occasions.

I have Smokeless Image Volts and 510s.

The Volts are auto batteries. They're the most cig-alike. And, they're fine as long as I have a really good flavor in them.

I love my 510 manual batteries for dripping, especially with a 306. But, they're also fine with a 2.0 ohm carto. Problem is that they're really not made to handle 2.0 ohm. They're made for 2.5 ohm. But, with the standard resistance cartos, they're a very wimpy vape.

The only clearos I've found that are more or less cig-alike size that are really good are the eSmarts. The eSmarts come in both 808 and 510 versions. But, they aren't quite exactly cig-alike size. They're just a tiny bit wider, just a couple of millimeters.

They do make eSmart batteries that are the right size. But, I can't see spending money on more cig-alike type batteries when I have so many old 808 and 510 batteries left over. If you don't have any stick batteries at all yet, you might try buying an eSmart kit. It's a slightly wider cig-alike, but still close enough.

I've also read that some people swear by the Nano clearomizers (which are cig-alike sized). I haven't had the greatest luck with them so far. But, I'll eventually dig mine back out and try again based on what I've read.

Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

I always loved the little Nanos. Temperamental as they were, when they worked they were great. The Mini clearos SI replaced them with are worth trying, good flavor but the wicks are a bit short.

Thanks for all the responses guys! I didn't expect to get this kind of a turnout XD thank you! My Magma starter kit should be here tomorrow and I'll get to try them carto's out with some HHV liquid in em (I didn't want to get prefilled as I only vape HHV atm hehe). I'll let yall know how it vapes when I get it set up. Gonna be nice to have little auto batteries again for the form factor and simplicity. Until then I've got my iTaste VTR and protanks : )
