I would suggest trying to find a juice that, flavor wise, totally contradicts what you usually vape. I like sweet, bakery type vapes, and find that a strong clove or tobacco juice often tastes amazing when my daily vapes being to lose flavor.

What you're experiencing is definitely something all vapers go through. Don't sweat it too much. I know it makes your vape a bit less satisfying, but power on. You might also get some plain, unflavored nic juice for those times, so you can cleanse your palette and not 'waste' your flavored juices.

Good luck, stick with it, remember how hard you worked to get away from those vile cigs.

Funny but the light socket in my wall doesn't produce any light, no light what so ever. But the lamp that I plug into that socket can do all sorts of things. I can put a small bulb in it, I can put a big bulb in it, hell I can even put colored bulbs in it.
Your Twist is just like that light socket, it doesn't produce any of that vapor you're getting, doesn't produce any flavor either, but what you put on it sure can.
The flavor is in the liquid you use, all the PV does is provide power, and all the atty does is provide heat and air.

but that still doesnt explain the flavour sensation i get from greensmoke and even a jasper jasper disposable i have here too.

All juice is not created equal.

You can't blame the pv for crappy juice. I'm loyal to Halo brand menthol juices because Halo (in my opinion) tastes better than other brand menthols I've vaped. You'll have to either stick with Greensmoke or find juice of comparable quality.

May be a longshot, but what resistance are your attys & cartos?

i have diff ones, 2.4 1.8 and couple higher

Just tried puros after new claro break in, and bang got the taste very nutty flavour. I guess most the standard tobacco flavours taste the same coz this el toro puros is very different :)

That doesnt make any sense to me, cause you have the variable voltage version of the Ego, and I have the set voltage Ego-T and I get taste from mine at only 3-3.4V, whatever it is. Using the standard high resistance atomizer I still get flavor, but its not really strong though, but I certainly taste the menthol, and tobacoo, etc. But when I got my low resistance Smoktech single coil cartomizer, I put it on my Ego-T, and Zappp! Now I get loads of flavor! Maybe too much....

I got some Vermillion River e-liquid in today, and the K-Max menthol is great... Try that... It doesnt taste like menthol cigs, see the thread I started about it in the e-liquid forum..

When I started I had the same issue. I will admit I was an avid menthol smoker. When I switched to vaping I preferred the tobacco flavored from Cig2o. When I switched from prefilled carts to a Clear I decided to switch to a menthol juice. After not finding one I liked I switched back to the tobacco and sure enough, couldn't taste a thing.

Someone suggested I try another menthol and I really liked it and could taste everything again. Point is maybe you should try what Cuando suggested and try something opposite like a strong menthol to kinda clear things out.

I know quite a few people that hated menthol cigs and love menthol vaping.

I actually had the same problem when I first quit smoking 2 years ago. I didn't know about all these different models, voltages, etc. I had the NJoy Pro. I couldn't taste anything and there was no throat hit so I just powered on through quitting without anything. My boyfriend is allergic to analogs especially the menthol I smoked for 10 years so I never thought about an e-cig. He came home one day after seeing his friends with their e-cigs asking if I thought about trying it. He bought me my eGo CE4 the next day! I can definitely taste it now! I even tried an NJoy again and could finally taste it although there's no real throat hit so not as satisfying. Just keep going! It's a hard road but you'll get there!!! I'm a strong believer that analogs kill your taste buds. Even food wise, I taste more now than I did for my 10 years of smoking. My co-worker just tried my coffee flavor today. She quit maybe 2 weeks ago and was able to taste it. I order from a site that allows you to customize the strength of flavor and I have the strongest available. Maybe try something like that. Just don't give up!!! :)

Try scraping your tongue with those tongue scraper things every hour and get the juice and food off it, and don't vape for a while, let your buds grow again.

 ? scrape every hour and don't vape for a while? I'll have to try it with my toothbrush (don't have a scraper).
The baking soda method works pretty good though too. Also drinking a bit of a coke or pepsi refreshes my buds by the evening time. (Drinking too much coffee during the day puts a "coating" on my tongue and my vape flavors degrade as the day progresses unless I use one of the above methods.)
To the OP : are your greensmmokes made with mostly PG?

Subconsciously you are now dissatisfied with the eGo. Even though the adjustable twist could be adjusted to produce the exact same electrical signal as the GreenSmoke, and cartos are available that would mimic the greensmoke cartridge, you will probably never get past the little mental signals you will always get when you puff on the Twist. This can be seen in many reviews where someone says this is so much better than that. Mostly personal opinions, sometimes little facts, but to be sure, the reviewer believes it.

The Twist may grow on you after a while, just like smoking took a while to develop your favorite brand.
I suggest trying a couple of the smaller cheaper e-cigs to supplement your eGo Twist until you can adjust to it.
