I dont know if its my kangar tank coils that keep on burning out on me or what. I ordered some aspire bdc glassomizers yesterday so waiting on those. Work has been stressful and the last thing I need is to go vape on a break and have my tank acting up. I seem to only get 2-3 days tops out of a coil. I would rather pay for replacements than mess with rebuilding. But the b&m has been out of them forever. I dont want to smoke so I am just using my last two decent coils carefully until my vapemail arrives. How long does a kangar 2.4 ohm usually last. Before it burns out? Not looking to hear how many rebuilds some get out of them.

Please help!!!!!

So juice getting built up will make it taste burnt?

Yes sir!! Just a quick rinse and dry and then dry burn and rinse again and get it dry again and you're good to go. If your flavor wicks fall apart get a bit of cotton and use that. I use a more thorough cleaning process, but that will get you up and running. TAkes all of 10 minutes at most.

I had a protank 1 and 2 and because of the same reason you stated, I stopped using them. Now I use a nimbus (amazing RDA by the way). Supposely, the protank 3 because it is dual coil, is able to handle more volts and heat then its predecessor. Not sure if its worth checking out but here is a side by side review!

good luck!

"Dry Burning" is rather simple. Just leave the base and coil on your battery without the tank, and do a couple second presses on the battery almost "pulse" like until the smoke stops. Make sure not to hold the battery down too long or you will burn it up. If I need something quick, i will soak it in Vodka and let it dry out. Make sure not to use rubbing alcohol.

Just wanted to come back to my thread and thank you all!! I got home and cleaned and dry burned my tanks and coils and they actually work better than the day I first got them!! Stoked! I had one flavor wick that I had been running espresso with, that looked pretty rough and it has a funky taste to it now, but one out of 5 is not bad at all. Saved me some money and now I am well versed in doing this. Not to mention I don't "hate" protanks anymore! Thanks again!!

I didn't see the part about the cotton.... So I guess I didn't screw anything up I will just put that coil aside and get some cotton. Any special kind?
