REALLY stupid question. What is the filler in carts that absorbs the e-juice? So sorry.

I'm sorry for asking such a dumb question, but I don't want to buy pre-filled carts anymore, but I don't know what the pre-filled carts' filling is. Can you buy it? I have tons of empty ones, and just want to put the filling in so I can refill with my e-juice. Again, sorry, I know it's a dumb question. Also, where can you buy it? I've checked 2 sites, and neither sell it. :(

The white stuff is sometimes polyfill or fiberfill which you can get at a sewing store like Joann's. It's also used for stuffing pillows etc.

Sometimes it's something similar with stiffer or staighter fibers.

And a popular replacement (when the original white stuffy gets nasty and cranky) is blue foam. if you have standard 510 carts or round tip 901 carts you can get cheap precut blue foam piece at stritlyejuice.com - I actually started out cutting those down for some smaller carts I have.

Then if you like it (or have different carts and need a different shape), you can get the uncut form as Marineland Rite-Size U Foam Sleeve in the aquarium dept of Petsmart. ($8 and often out of stock)
