Very frustrating. I had the XCube II delivered on October 28th and now less than a month later the box wont even turn on. I simply put two completely charged VTC4's in the battery compartment and all of a sudden I noticed some smoke coming from the unit internally. Very strong burning smell, then I click the button 5 times and nothing just blank. Its like the chip fried itself! Has this been reported by any other XCube II owners of a burning smell and smoke coming from the box on the inside? Really strange.

I need to email VapeNW where I got this and utilize the 6 month warranty. Does anyone have experience exchanging broken products with them? Not sure if NW handles the exchange/repair directly or if I need to contact smok but hopefully I can get this resolved soon.

Yea thanks for the support, always stressful when your hardware fails so unexpectedly :(

I gotta have some restraint and not spend anymore on ECig related items. So tempted though with all the sales this time of year to buy something else with TC since getting the warranty fulfilled could take awhile.

Ooh I know. I've spent about 250 in the last 3 days. These sales are not good on my purse!

VapeNW was good about the 50W isticks so hope they'll help.

Well about 45 mins ago got approved for an RMA. The only thing I dont understand is what do they mean by service fee?

It says if needed next to receipt of service fee so maybe I dont have to pay for that too, did you have to pay this service fee when returning your isticks or just have to pay for the return shipping?

EDIT: I think the receipt of Service fee is for fulfilling the Manufacturers Warranty. Since it happened less than 30 days ago I dont think I need to buy this and can utilize VapeNW's warranty. I am going to give them a call at any rate to make sure.

So I just talked to Aimee at VapeNW. She was very helpful explaining things, said I dont have to pay the 8.00 service fee that its just for defective items outside the 30 day VapeNW warranty. Also mentioned that they ship 100s of these a day and they really havent had too many maybe a few a day that get returned, so hopefully ill have better luck with these XCubes going forward.

In addition earlier today decided to buy another XCube II from VapeNW. It was only 52 dollars shipped for the Zinc Alloy one. So after my first one gets fixed ill have one in black and one in silver :)
