I like this article...America is naive if they think anything will COMPLETELY keep teenagers from consuming some kind of nicotine. Same with alcohol and drugs. People (and teens) need to be educated about things of this nature. We can not shelter our youth and just throw them to the wolves when the become an adult.

Where the Fundamental Problem lies is that people like the Durbin's of the world know all this. But choose to preach Hype Based FUD as a tactic to garner Uneducated Voters.

And are willing to throw 5 ~ 7% of the US population under the Bus if it means gaining a Larger Voter Base.

It's just kinda a Game to him. Where getting Re-Elected and Gaining Seats at any cost is Winning and Acceptable.

The Concept of "Demonizing" and then being the "Savior" isn't Exclusive to One Party. And there Aren't too many Elected Officials or Party who haven't pulled that Page from their Playbook.

Written by his BT/BP lobbyist most likely. Elections are coming up and here in IL the christian right are avid voters, they love that type of rhetoric.
