Hi,

I'm just wondering if there is anybody out there that know of any real side effects for vaping?

I know it seems better than analog cigs and am 99.9% convinced of this but would like to know if anybody experienced anything bad as I seem to be vaping more than I was smoking and admittedly am liking it a lot and WAY better to a slight addition... Maybe I'll grow out of it as the weeks and months go by...

Cheers!

Yeah...I've been analog free for 7 weeks now...After 35 years of analogs...

I've noticed the following side effects:

I can breathe again.
I have more energy.
My wife tells me that I no longer snore.
I sleep like a log.
I wake up refreshed.

Seriously, any side effects that I have noticed are minimal compared to what I went through when I smoked analogs!

Good Luck!

Pete

Vaping delivers less nicotine per puff than tobacco cigarettes. Because of that, you will find yourself vaping more often than you smoked. You will know if you vape too much because you will notice signs like ringing ears, maybe a slight nauseated feeling, possibly some dizziness. The symptoms are similar to the first time you smoked. I'm sure you remember that day!

We don't know. No good studies have been done. It seems obvious it is safer than smoking and it is meant for smokers. Ecigs only have nicotine, PG/VG, sometimes water or alcohol, low grade sugars (VG and ethyl maltol), and food flavoring. Cigarettes add to that 4000 chemicals including MAOI's, carcinogens, tar, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and carpet glue.

Nicotine can still affect blood pressure and cause bleeding gums, too much nicotine often causes headaches or rapid/irregular heartbeat and other symptoms. Some flavorings need to be avoided or researched (mainly custardy and buttery/fatty flavors) and main contain diacetyl which may not be safe to vape. And the products are unregulated so you have to trust in the purity of what you are getting.

But I feel better, my sinuses cleared up, my cheeks are pink, I can breath better and food tastes great.

The only side effects I've notice with vaping as opposed to smoking have been positive and most if not all of them already mentioned above.

It's normal to find yourself vaping more, especially when it's new. Nicotine doesn't give that immediate effect like it does with smoking, it's more gradual so instead of having a cig every so often we vape more consistently. I don't know what MG your vaping but if you feel like your having to chain vape you can up the nic content. I had to experiment with mine from the start once found it slowed my vaping pace down.

We don't know. No good studies have been done..........

There actually have been some good studies done. If more would take the time to join CASAA they would know that. More studies are always welcome, however.

I would suggest you go to CASAA (click on the the banner at the bottom of my post) and read the studies on their site.

I also strongly suggest that you join CASAA. They are the one of the few organizations that is fighting for our right to vape. We all should support them.

Many have posted good advise above. I am into it for about 14 months and have noticed nothing negative. I have also noticed that I do not get colds like I used too and when I do they are really mild. I have only had one in 14 months! One negative effect though and it is not health realted, it is wallet related---------Vaping can turn into a hobby really quick and MOD collecting can get expensive but damn is it fun :) Best of luck

I forgot...

I vape like a chimney!
I vape way more than I ever smoked.
Some on this site say it is normal to vape more than when you smoked analogs.
I think you need to vape more because your body doesn't absorb as much nicotine as when using analogs.

Pete

I think you need to vape more because it tastes so darn good and you can vape anywhere!
