Yeah some of the rebuildable atmoizers have a tank built in, like the genesis maxi, if you want to see a run down of how to rebuild one, it doesnt seem difficult at all

uses .20 nichrome wire, some metal mesh, n thats about it, some use silica cord like the patriot mega

check out this guys video on youtube, very informative, he shows in great detail how to rebuild a genesis maxi

REVIEW OF THE GENESIS MAXI REPAIRABLE ATOMISER - YouTube

the maxi is a tank system, so its like a rebuildable carto in a sense, only the wick is exposed and there is no (cart) inside the tank, just the huge metal mesh wick, the more .20 nichrome cord you use, the higher the resistance for your coil, so very customizeable as well

i dont know how much they cost though, i havent found a (buy it new) retailer for the maxi or the hellfire (which is another great rebuildable one) but they can be gotten used some times on classified forum areas

Right now they are hard to get. The vendors that sell them are almost always out of stock. I'm currently in a coop for a couple. The problem with that is that you have to pay up front and there's a long wait. You might check out this thread for another possibility.

One thing though. These are not plug and go. You need to know what you're doing and you need to have a meter and know how to measure resistance with it.

Well you never know what a person's skillset is on here. If you know anything about simple circuits, it's easy enough to handle but, for all I knew you could be someone expecting something they can take out of the box load with juice and go.

I'm in the 300 one. It's closed now though.
