Rebuildable atty materials

I've been looking for over an hour now and can't find anything on where to get wire and wick material. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find these things?

ECF has sources listed for this if you search for type/name. e.g. "Kanthal"

I know this well open a can of worms but what's the best to use? Just want to know how many prefer each.

I use 32-gauge kanthal and #3 cotton candle wick on my Chalice, both of which I got on ebay. I also got some 400 SS mesh on ebay and some unbleached cotton cheesecloth at Bed Bath and Beyond.

There is a 340 page wick discussion and all this in the modders section... Whatever you are trying to mod, search for it and there will be some discussion in the modders forum on it-- genesis, vivi nova, etc.

My golden setup uses, and will always use, 33ga Kanthal A and 400 SS Mesh wick.

Cotton wick is good on taste, but if you let it get dry one time, *poof* time to make a new wick. I can't remember the last time I made a new wick for any of my rebuildables. If the coil pops I rinse off the wick, wrap a new coil around it, and vape on.

I've yet to pop a coil on my rebuildable "stardust" type clearo so, using the 1mm. cotton wick on this page I just slip the new wick into the existing coil after a dryburn.

Works great!
