If you aren't measuring your ohms on a mech device you're a brave man.![]()
I'd go so far as saying a foolish one.
Are you guys talking about an ego type battery or can this be done safely with a vamo.
Could I also use my vamo with the pulse method using at battery @3.7v or less?
I watched Busardos vids and he never metered the ohms until after he was already firing it. Although I dont know what type of device he was using.
Thanks!

Thank You. There were a couple comments saying if you dont measure the ohms on a mech device your asking for trouble. I wanted to make sure a vamo was considered a mech device and they didnt mean a multimeter.
newb question... can one just use a vamo to check the ohms? my intention is to use that Rebuildable atty for my mechanical... been trying to find a ohm reader for a while they are either quite expensive or out of stock...
A Vamo is NOT a "mech". A mech is just a tube to hold the battery, a switch and a threaded end for the atty. A Vamo (and similar) are Advanced Personal Vaporizers that use circuitry to modulate the voltage, allow adjustment of voltage and watts, etc. Along with these abilities are several built in limits for safety including the inability to fire any atty below 1.2 ohms. A mech has absolutely no built in safety.
First off I would say thank you for your responses they are appreciated.
I think I may be confusing you with my question as I consider what you talk about above as a mech mod and someone else using the term mech device. I dont see how you can measure ohms on a mech mod since as you say has no circuitry.
So with that said my question in the most basic sense is. Can I rebuild an atty RSST lets say and put it on my vamo to test resistance without risk of damaging my vamo?
