I am considering taking the plunge into rebuilding and want a topper with the least amount of fuss and tinkering. My hands are a touch big to try and rebuild these nautilus heads.

The kayfun style seems to be the popular type.

other bottom coils are taifun, russian, fogger, aqua

Of these which one and what should I be looking for in a rebuildable. In other words what features are worth spending money on?

Which one: Kayfun: lots of people here have experience with them.
(but I like the something about the quality of the Aqua)

What to look for: Bottom coil.
There are basically two types of RBA:
1: the genesis type: topcoil types meant to use steel mesh wick;
2: the kayfun type: bottomcoil types where you can use cotton wick.
Much easier for a first timer to put together a kayfun type.

Found 82 rba at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

what kinds of things I look for:
1: Screws/nuts: if screws then phillip head screw; better yet for nuts because then you don't need a screwdriver to recoil.
2: how to refill/empty; often it's not obvious; sometimes more than one way; often intended to refill by syringe.
3: standard 510 mouthpience/driptip - which is why I ordered a fogger not a kayfun
4: Oh! Almost forgot: GLASS TANK; another reason I chose the fogger.
5: No paint: my first rba was an i-atty; it was black; didn't care for having paint inside the topcap where the hot coil was.
6: spare parts available : there's lots of kayfuns out there you can get parts.
7: center pin contact at the bottom

I look for eGo threading to but I can't list that because so far, there are no eGo threaded RBA's!

I have a ehpro Kayfun and have had good results. It's easy to build, providing good flavor and vapor production. The build quality is IMO, very good.

I also have several Prometheus and Kraken clones as well. They too are easy to build, and work flawlessly. They both provide great flavor and vapor production. They may leak if full and laid on their side for extended periods of time.

The drippers I have include the Patriot, Trident, Trident-V2 and the Spirit. They are easy to build and work great. The build quality on mine are all good. All except the the Spirit are clones if that matters.

Aqua: see the airholes on the sides?

One of the big problems with most tanks, whether rebuildable or not, it the 510 thread has to do airflow as well as electrical as well as mechanically hold the tank; well the aqua has the airflow on the sides so that's one less problem to worry about on the 510 thread.

So now since the air doesn't have to come up from the 510 thread, it means a flooded coil can't leak down onto your battery!
Again, that's not peculiar to rebuildables.

Note how the center pin protrudes out the bottom of the 510 male threading; what I can't tell is whether it is adjustable or not. Having a protruding center pin and especially an adjustable one can help to reduce center pin non-contact problems on 510 connectors so long as you don't over tighten.
Again, that's not something peculiar to rebuildables.
