Rebuilding coil & material

Hello folks!
So I've been rebuilding coils for my Kanger ProTank 2 for little bit now. I was using cotton I had around & it was working great but I just ran out. I used a cotton ball and made wick with it but it seems to get burnt by second puff >_<

What do you guys use?

I'm using 100% VG
Kanger ProTank 2 on MVP 2

Sounds like you used too much cotten and it's not wicking properly?

I use 50-50 juice myself, but with 100% VG, you might not want to use a flavor wick and take primer pulls every so often. Try cutting your juice with a bit of distilled water can help too, start at 2%-5% and see how that works. Good luck.

CVS Pharmacy sells Sterile Rolled Cotton. That's what I use. I can't find any equivalent anywhere else. I've learned to go real thin with this stuff. I also drill out the mini for some of my thicker juices.

I bought 5 PT2"s tried rebuild after rebuild with no luck :facepalm even bought the aero tank bases & I have came to the conclusion that they are just too touchy & not worth the head...... don't waste your time or money, I've been using : Rebuildable Atomizer Systems and the results are unbelievable!
Rsst tank - cotton wick 1.2 ohm micro coil & sum decent e liquid - you'll be set & never look back- also check out Kayfun tanks & taifun GT"s - Do sum research regarding safety and you'll be loving life! Lol

Hemp fiber is more absorbant and burn resistant than cotton. I have to very rarely swap my wicks out since I went hemp fiber.

Easier than cotton. You'd have a real hard time over packing it because it is so absorbent.

Ramie fibers work very well also, kind of like working with silk thread.

Give properly cleaned hemp string a shot and the yarn will be for sweaters and mittens.

Yep, they're sensitive to that, but work great when you get it down. Sounds like you got it figured out. Skip any flavor wick, always screwed it up for me. I never have problems with my protank 2s. Do you have the aero base? The aero base really makes the PT2 good.
