The most common wick/coil material to rebuild clearos are 32 gauge kanthal a1 and 2mm silica wick. I believe ebay has the best price around:

kanthal 32 | eBay
silica 2 mm | eBay

Here's a fairly detailed tutorial on Youtube on rebuilding T3:

I recently ordered some kanthal and silica to rebuild my T3's as they burn out, but I (think) I ordered 30 gauge wire. As cedric212 said a few posts up, the recommendation is 32 gauge. The vapestores here in Finland specify the thicknesses in mm (I ordered 0.20mm), so I didn't know the gauge when i ordered it. Will the 30 gauge kanthal fit in the T3, or should I change the order? It hasn't shipped yet due to the easter holidays.

Wrapping your coil using a 4-40 screw is a snap.

Machine screw coil wrap for Vivi Nova / Kanger T3 - YouTube

He also shows how to insert the wick thru the coil using a beading needle which you can find at any craft store.

that is an awesome video. i wonder how i can get that beading needle to work with my 3mm silica wick. i dont want to have to buy new wick. maybe i can just remove a couple strands from the silica wick.

after about 4-6 weeks they lose all the taste and taste like papery burnt.....i cleaned em but their still not like NEW its not too hard to rebuild but i just wanna make sure i get the best wick and wire possible...

i got mine from thehouseofvapor.com

You can buy by the foot, instead of having to buy a whole spool, only to find out it wasnt what you wanted. I bought 30ft of 2mm silica wick, 30ft of .8mm silica, and 40ft of 32g kanthal a-1. I think the total was like $10-12. I have already made at least 20-30 coil/wicks and still have more than half left...

Just finished two rebuilds, having never rebuilt any atomizer before. It was quite easy and fun! I used 32 gauge kanthal A-1 and 2mm silica. Wrapped it 5 times for a resistance of around 2 ohms. The coils lit up evenly right away, so I guess no hotspots!

The second head vapes better, no surprises there. In the first I wrapped 2 wicks, but it turned out too thick for my 100% VG. The wicks are thicker than those that are in the T3 by default, maybe they sent me 3mm by mistake.

If I learned one thing (besides, you know, making a coil), it's that one should always be careful with one's grommets. Two of the plastic "hat" grommets bounced away during the builds, but luckily I found them.

I am a happy vaper now, and I really recommend all T3 owners try this out. If you make a mess of it or don't find it fun, you can always order cheap replacement heads.

'Grats on your rebuild.

When i rewick my T3, I use 1mm silica and 0,15mm kanthal.

I cut out 4 pcs wick approx 3 inches long, and then I start at one end wrapping a coil (5 rounds). After that, there's a coil holding the wicks together. Then I wrap a couple more coils so that I use all the length of the wick thus wasting litterally next to none of it.

After this, I just cut off the completed 3-4 coils, saving all but one of them for later, ready as replacements. Of course i trim the wick ends after mounting the coils.

This method should work with 2mm wick and 0.20 kanthal also. Btw I wrap the kanthal directly on the wick without using paperclips etc. With 5 wraps, it's great at 4,4v, but i haven't tested the ohms.

Sent with my n101 II using TapaTalk 2

Hey, that's a good idea! Thanks. I also wrapped directly on the wick, it frayed a bit but I don't think that's a problem. 2mm is pretty thick already, might pull off a strand or two and plug the hole with a flavor wick if I see leaking.

I do actually see leaking already with the second head, might have to add some wick. I tested the resistance with a multimeter, 32 gauge kanthal wrapped 5 times gave me the aforementioned ~2 ohms. Still firing my twist at 4.8 like with vanilla T3's, though!
