Receive email when new thread is opened

Is there a way to receive an email when a new thread is opened in a sub-forum? I know we can receive daily updates in one email, etc but I am looking for a way to get instant emails when that occurs. For example, Classified & Swaps. I attempted to add it to my Google Reader feeds, however, that specific sub-forum does not contain xml feeds. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Go to user cp and choose from the left Subscriptions. When you see the list choose the ones using the check box and when you click on the dropdown box, bottom right of listed subscriptions usually says move to folder, you will see multiple choices of how to rec notifications. Choose instant e-mail.

Nothing on new threads that I can find.

Thanks Tina. I should been more detailed. I do know how to manage subscribed threads. What I would like to know is how to get an email every time a new thread is opened in The Classifieds forum. That specific forum does not have a feed associated with it so I can't add it to my google reader acct.

I think there is a place to put ideas for suggestions in the top stickies of the classifieds.
I think it is great idea and hope that you have posted it in the suggestions.

Hopefully we'll get what you are suggesting as I think alot of people would link up to be notified of a new classified. Seem to always miss out on the Good stuff!!!!!
