I'd say the kayfun probably isn't your atty. You may be able to get an airy draw, but you'll kill what the kayfun excels at.

Yep.

You are playing the wrong game with a KF. To me a KF is a convenience machine. You can build most things to produce great flavor but for a tank system KF types for a consistent pocket friendly, take anywhere vape.

Want big clouds? Get a big dripper with wide open air holes.

You could also split the difference with a genesis tank atty, they can easily produce more clouds than a KF and still have great flavor, but are more difficult to set up and not as pocket friendly.

You can put a dual coil on any device, which will get you around or under 1 ohm. That would require a good deal of the power you have available. Or, a Fogger v4 (or similar) dual coil bottom feeder tank is an excellent choice I enjoy at .9 ohms, about 20 watts. And it's always nice to have the extra headroom.

I just got the newer Fogger V4+ that comes with corrected post screws (don't buy one unless they say they have correct post screws) and it's made me forget all about my KFL. Bottom feeding dual coils is where it's at if you can't drip.

I just got a Seven-30, so I'm definitely not looking for pocket friendly. However, I might just stick with this Kayfun. I've been vaping on it for a day at 20 watts, and I tried my other setup with a PT2m at 11 watts first thing this morning before putting the battery in my 30. I almost choked, I was like, "What's wrong with the flavor?!"
I think that one day on the Kayfun has turned me into a flavor snob. And I'm OK with the clouds I'm getting on it after tuning it a bit. Not quite what I was looking for, but with flavor like that I don't think I care. And I have a drip tip that I drilled for my ProTank to increase inhalation airflow, with that on the Kayfun airflow is perfect.

Current vape:
Innokin iTaste VV v3
PT2m w/ 0.8 ohm 32g 5 wrap parallel micro coil at 11w
Local juice

I have a love/hate relationship with the Kayfun drip tips. I despise the v2 drip tips. They are shorter, but horrible in every way for me. I LOVE how the v1 drip tip concentrates the flavor and stream of the vapor, but it's huge and easily makes a mess in your mouth with how it seems to trap and hold juice.

My favorites are two custom drip tips that seem to strike that perfect balance between concentrating flavor, leaving enough room to not be constrictive, and not making a mess in my mouth.
