I'm really looking forward to it getting here. The wait has seemed longer than it actually has been. I had been patiently waiting just fine, but then I got a shipping notice on the 24th and I must admit I got kinda antsy after that. The waiting from that point forward has been the largest part by weight :)

Tomorrow evening I'll finally get to tinker with the thing and see how my two different style of AW batts (IMR and ICR) fit, and to try out the bottom button activated switch. That'll be the real test. I have no doubt that my Precice will be as finely honed as can be. The only open question is how comfortable it'll be to operate the switch. I'm pretty optimistic on that point based on earlier discussions and fiddling with a similar sized mod as if it had a bottom switch, but won't know entirely until I actually get it in hand and give it a go.

And then... the wait for the 4-in-1 adapter plus super-tanker liquid reservoir begins :D

The button VM is as easy as going to the bathroom. It becomes second nature in a matter of minutes. As a matter of fact, after some discussion where I couldn't state how I activated it, it came to me. I don't raise my pinky to throw the button, i sorta squeeze my hand and the PV follows into my pinky :)

That's exactly what I got out of those discussions. They put my mind at ease about it and a few days later I placed an order a Precise. I'm pretty sure I'll like using it just fine and maybe even prefer it over a side switch. Drozd description really struck a chord with me...

almost like you're not really pushing anything just kinda fidgeting...

These descriptions all add up to a kind of unconscious ease of use which is exactly what I would like and I'm pretty hopeful I'll find shortly after checking my mail tomorrow after work :)

Honestly, some of the promotional pics of the P16 on the superT site had me questioning the bottom button, for example...

... but that grip is not how it's really done in practice.

Wooo hoooo... Precise16 #3307 has arrived!!!

I've gotten light headed from vaping it so much already. Popped in a freshly charged IMR and toppped off and screwed on a KR carto (via apapter) that I had been using on another MOD today... blam... it hits like a truck! All that nonsense about SS not being as conductive as aluminum, ha ha. There's no loss in any of these threaded connections or the switch mechanism that I can tell. Nice solid 3.8v blast.

Wow... the naked polished stainless surface is sweet and I do like the looks of the three vent holes, some extra visual interest there. It's got a bit more heft to it than my aluminum MODs, not heavy feeling but more solid feeling.

I have to spend some more time with the bottom switch to get used to it, but so far so good. I'll need to play for a while and then maybe tweek the throw length and/or spring strength to fine tune things. The switch mechanism operates very smoothly indeed. The spring is just strong enough to hold the P16 up, the switch depresses slightly under its own weight, but not as far as the 'horns'.

I'm as happy as can be this this little super MOD!

Now, I'm off to take a closer look at the switch components and to try one of my ICRs in it.

Thank you David!

Its funny you say this because I am feelin the same way.(probably like everyone that is still waiting) I didnt order mine until Aug 11th and I was not paying attention to how much time had gone by because I thought it would go by quicker this way but, the first time I looked up my order was last Wed the 25th and I thought it had been at least almost 3 weeks but in actuality tomorrow will be 3 weeks. It is going by so slow, I can not imagine how brutal it must have been for the people that ordered months ago. Like I have said in previous posts, I am in no way trying to rush David. I already have 2 mods that came to me slightly scratched up and I am not looking for another:ohmy:

Thats unacceptable here at Super T. I suspect i must have missed it during my final inspection as i would never knowingly send out a scratched product. Was it brass or Stainless Steel button? I will get you out a new one asap! Please PM me with your shipping information.

To those who are receiving their Precises, make sure you inspect it thoroughly upon receipt and bring to my attention immediately if you find any flaws and you can either send it back for an exchange or if you are already attached to it, i can polish it out. Obviously, if you bring it to my attention days or weeks later, i can not exchange it at that point, but i can most certainly repolish it!

I inspect each and every device personally that i send out, if it has dings or scratches, it doesn't get shipped out, so i apologize to NewWorld for letting one slip through.

Also, just a reminder, for anyone who has purchased a T1, S6 or Precise and it's getting a bit long in the tooth from use, i offer free polishing on it. Just send it in, with 5.00 return shipping and i'll do my best to getting it looking like new again!

I agree that the spring rate on the P16 is perfect. I have no issues with the device at all! I call it my Perfectly Precise PV. Thanks David!

I love the stock spring as well.

I just finished cleaning my precise for the 1st time.
I used brasso to polish all of the brass parts and got them shiny like new. (althought I didn't clean the brass where the atty connects)
also used some brasso on the button to make it slick so it slides with ease.
then used noalox on the brass parts and put it back together...puffing out vapor clouds as I type. =)
I also used liquid car wax on the body of the precise when I 1st got it to make it slick and give it a deeper shine look. (I do this to all my SS mods)

I think the stock spring is the Goldilocks of springs, not too firm, not to soft, but some want the heavier spring for a extra measure against mis-fires in the pocket, which it delivers:)

"The story of Goldilocks"

"This spring is too hard on my precise!" she exclaimed.

So, she tried the next spring.

"This spring is too light," she said

So, she vaped with the last (stock) spring in her precise.

"Ahhh, this spring is just right," she said happily as she vaped away..

There ya go progg. Congrats!!!

Thank you , thank you. You and the other honest posters here were absolutely correct -- David is a top notch creator.

I'm like a little kid right now at xmas time. I'll give a review of sorts in a separate, future thread.

Thanks again to all who led me here. :)
