istick 50 is a good setup, but I am not really liking the looks. I know that it is a great setup otherwise, just not liking the looks.

I've dated ugly girls before. As long as they performed well, I kept them. As soon as performance degraded, I got rid of them. Since my istick50 has been performing well so far, I'm keeping her for now.

But did you date them because they were your best option at the time? Or choose them over hotter girls with similar performance?

I hadn't heard that the Plus leaked. Thanks for that bit. I was drawn to it for the sub ohm ability, the huge tank, and the rebuilding. I like the Delta 2 by Joytech but the rba section is sold separately. If you're still on the fence, the Artic tank seems really popular and I know at least one person that loves it.

WARNING! the istick 50w could catch on fire when charging. it's an acknowledged issue by the manufacturer Which they fixed in subsequent production runs.... the problem is you don't know if you got the old or new batch. I wouldn't want to risk it, especially as there are better setups for a little more money. I'd recommend the IPV mini 2 (70 watts), the istick 30w, or the Kangertech kbox (not as adjustable as the others, still solid as a rock, preset wattages at 8, 13, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 watts). With the kbox and the IPV mini 2 you'll need an external charger and 18650 batteries.

Kbox is real solid especially for the price of an ego. I love mine. People complain about the set wattages but I find they are close to the wattages I use anyway.
Ive got a 100 watt box mod that technically has way more capabilities than the kbox. It's been in a drawer for a month straight lol.

I am quite set on Kanger Subtank Mini. Its the perfect size for me and I love that I can rebuild both the coils as well as the fact that their OCC coils seem to be generally cheaper than Artic's BDTC coils. Also, I am currently a mouth to lung hit type of guy and Artic looks like its geared for clouds. What do you think?

Vaporbeast has the KBox for $19.95 and with coupon code YEAHBABY it comes to $17.95. Buy 2 or spend over $35 and shipping is free.

The SubBox Mini is something that I am strongly considering it bcs I do not know what my vape range is just yet and I would like to have a more granular control. But here, the Kbox V1 seems to be very cheap. Do you think its worth it to pay that extra for the updated one (I think its an updated one with a LCD)?

What tank do you use it with?

I use it with subtanks. I have the mini, the plus and the V1 which is like the plus but older and missing a few features. I painted it blue (I get bored)

iStick 50 is something I am no longer considering in the top 3 choices. My top 3 right now are istick 30(for its size vs performance vs price ratio), Kbox v2 (part of subbox mini) (price vs looks vs flexibility + removable battery) and coolfire 4 (The color and finish look brilliant + Innokin boards are known for reliability).

As far as tanks go, I have pretty much finalized on Subtank Mini. Since you have used these together, would you suggest something different? I love cool, dense vapors with lots of flavor and as such I wont be subohming much but it is nice to have if you want to dabble.

Also, which battery and charger do you use for the kbox?

This what I am thinking currently.

istick 30 + Kanger Subtank mini : Portable, powerful But looks pretty bad. Also, I have large hands and this feels very small in my hands.
Kbox V2 + Kanger subtank Mini : Less portable, More powerful, Way more flexible and looks pretty good. The size also seems to fit. But I am trading off ease of use for replaceable battery.
Coolfire 4 + Kanger Subtank Mini : Think of Red Coolfire 4 and the red subtank mini. That is a stunning look and a capable mod. Just not sure about the battery in the innokin.

Those are all solid choices. I'd lean towards the kanger subox, but any of those would make you a happy vaper!

If you don't mind spending a bit of money, you can't go wrong with a DNA 40. I have a Hana V4D and Vaporshark rDNA and love them both. Hcigar has some in the $100 range with an authentic Evolv chip although I don't know how well they are built.

Whats with DNA40? It seems to be one of the most cloned and highly regarded chips but it is the most expensive when in its watt range. Can you break it down for me?
