So I'm addicted to ecigs, not just nicotine. I went to my local B&M store, after a lot of discussion I left with a tank/carto system, with a hollow carto and a Kanger T3. Not sure of the brand for the tank, but I feel like it was more of a cheapy thing to try out. It's supposed to be 3.5ml, but I don't feel like it is, but I cant fill it up all the way since it needs a special drip tip. Anyways, it produces a ton of vapor, great throat hit, and tastes awesome.

The kanger T3 is the worst thing I've bought in regards to PV stuff. I heard a lot of good things about it, but I couldn't be more disappointed. Makes a weird noise while drawing, feels like I'm sucking through a broken straw, and produces little vapor. I plugged 1 of the 3 vent holes with a tooth pick, which helped quite a bit with the draw and whistling noise, but it still produces little vapor. Let it sit for 2 days, and now it seems to be gurgling, so I think it's leaking. I bought a replacement carto/wick thing that goes in it - I'll try that one, but so far it's bad. I prefer the little black LR filler cartos with the white rubber tips (with a drip tip on it though) that are about a dollar each, they produce warm, and good amounts of vapor, compared to the T3.

So far the tank/carto for my eGoT and eroll (I still can't believe it works just as well as a bigger setup [at least for my noob level]) have been the best, and I'll still experiment with different set ups. Kanger T3 seemed like it would be great, guess not.

Got new flavors as well, mint chip is my new favorite, vanilla is my 3rd, and waffle (which I heard was good) tastes like mustard. I'm gonna hide that one in a dark place, and hopefully I'll forget about it and find it a month later.

I had problems with my T3's as well when I first got them. I did a lot of reading others' experiences and did a bunch of fiddling around. I got a better hit by not screwing the head ALL the way in, just leaving a little gap smaller than a finger nail. I don't know what I did to stop the leaking/gurgling, unless leaving the gap solved this too.

Last night I did my first rewick with cotton though, and WOW, I'm getting HUGE flavorful clouds now and no leaking or gurgling at all. I'm loving it now.

First, from your descriptions, you are new to this. You have yet to learn of the need for some tweaking on most devices to get the best Vape.
Not sure what you are calling a Hollow carto(maybe a ce2 cartridge)
Your carto may be a 1.7-1.8ohm coil - good on an ego
Your Kanger is probably a 2.5ohm coil and likely is not able to heat up properly so you are constantly adding more and more liquid around the coil.

If your Ego-T is original Joyetech, it is regulated to 3.3v and you should use nothing above 2.0-2.2ohm to get decent vapor.
I own about 20 T3/miniT3's and believe me - they Do work. I use mine on an eVic at 7 watts power - a bit more than the Ego-t will produce.

You can purchase low ohm coils for the kanger T3
You could also try the T2 with LR coils for a warmer vape.(top coil)

I had issues with mine gurgling and spitting in the beginning, but now, they are my favorite delivery system of their kind. The only issue is that there are some fakes out there and Kanger itself has had some consistency issues with them. The genuine Kangers with issues CAN be fixed though.

I have 4 of them from SI and they all work great. Two sputtered initially, but since I got to cleaning them with each refill (rinse the tank thoroughly with hot water, blow out the juice from the atty, and dry burn with the flavor wicks removed) I've had no problems.

I also flanged out the mouth holes a little bit with a punch (much like a screwdriver only it's got a smooth, pointed tip and can't drive in a screw.) This is supposed to help with sputtering a bit. Not sure if actually did, but I have not tasted my juice straight in my mouth for a few weeks now, so there's that.

Personally, I like the loose draw. I can relax and still draw plumes without making pirate faces. When I put it up to my mouth, the vapor seems to pour in almost on its own. This thing is performing very solidly for me. I know when I screw one onto my batt, it will get right to work for me. You just have to take some time to learn how to treat it. It's a bit of trial and error at first. I can't really explain it. There's all sorts of little things you can do. What works for one may not work for another, but it seems like there is always a way to get them working properly.

Now that I can re-wick and coil them, I think I'll be using them for a good, long time.

Also, what do you mean by weird noise? All that I get is that typical hiss of an atomizer heating the juice and maybe the occasional pop.

I have about 5 kanger t3's and I like these the most of all the clearo's I've used. Hence why I have 5. I get awesome vape and I can taste the flavor to the last drop. If you get a gurgling sound just fling it upside down a few times and the juice causing it will sling out and then your good. Maybe you got a cheap knock off or something but IMO mangers are superior to other clearo's.

I'm definitely still a noob at all of this. I just rewicked my T3 but with less coils in the wire, not sure what the resistance is now, but it should be lower than 2.5 ohms. Works fine now with my eGo-T battery. Still not the best throat hit, but good flavor and decent amount of vapor. Actually feels like I'm vaping something now.

Clap;clap;clap. I gotta give you two thumbs up for doing a rewick on a t3, and being new to all of this. I gotta say I am rather impressed. I do agree that I didn't have any love for the t3s that i had purchased until I did my own rebuild on them. They do all perform better once they are built by us, for us... Good job, see you around the modders forum when you get there......

Pumping them out faster than they can check them. I've always loved Kanger's products and wallowed in misery whenever anything they mad got popular because when they go flying out the door, their QC goes down the toilet. They always get it together. BUT the more recent ones that I have gotten in that have has issues have all been simple to fix.

I too suspect you may have gotten knockoffs because I received a couple I ordered out of desperation while things were slim last month that are already in the garbage.

I'm not a noob at this and I find recoiling and wicking these things to be more trouble than they are worth and they always drip slightly so kudos.

One other T3/MT3 tip is they work much better when they are filled anywhere between full and half full. When they get low on juice is when they seem to flood and you get the gurgling. The nice thing is when they do gurgle you can just turn them upside down, unscrew the atomizer and it will drain the fluid out of the air tube. Have a napkin handy when you unscrew the atty as sometimes the juice in the air tube will run out quickly.

Thank you, definitely new to all this stuff, but was able to pull out some knowledge from way back in high school AP physics. We did a lot of labs with circuits and making coils of different resistances and having to calculate the theoretical value vs the measured value. That was on a much larger scale with larger copper wire I believe, this was so much tinier. But hey, I got it to work. I almost majored in electrical engineering - damn, the things I could have done with that degree now that I'm into vaping. Just months away from having an earth science degree - won't overlap much (however, I'll be able to get my fix while doing field work and not have the professor yell "I swear to god if you start a fire...)
