[Recipe request]: Lemon-Lime Soda

Hey all,

I did some searching but couldn't unearth anything informative. I also searched through the various e-liquid recipe links in this section but again, nothing surfaced. Title says it all. Anyone have a working/hopefully-spot-on 'Lemon-Lime Soda' e-liquid recipe? Looking for that delicious 7-Up/Sprite taste.

Try the TPA Mtn Dew flavor. I think it tastes exactly like that. I had to add some pineapple and tangerine to get the actual Mtn Dew taste I was looking for.

Yeah, jmlott, that's about right. I find TPA/TFA's Mt Dew type flavor is more like a generic Sprite or 7up taste. (Which works out great for me because I like those better than Mt Dew.)

I'm glad to know this, too, because I have some TPA Mtn. dew that I haven't tried yet. I'd bet it'd be yummy to mix equal parts lemon, key lime, champagne and a little bit of sweetner.

I purchased some lemon, lime, and kiwi flavorings. No champagne, though. Dreaded woe!

Any more input on this? I have two different lemon flavors, two different lime flavors, assorted other citrus flavors from various suppliers. Anyone have a solid, spot-on recipe?

hey if you need someone to sample some for you to make sure you got it right i would be glad to help you with that

The problem with trying to make it from scratch like you're doing is that DIY is different from blending foods. Flavorings are made from flavor molecules that replicate the flavor but when you add these together you could end up getting something totally different.

Have you tried Capella's Lemon-Lime? I've read that it's very close to 7Up or Mountain Dew, can't remember which.

for the 7up lovers...
13% Cap Lemon/Lime
3% FS champagne
1% TPA Koolada
3 drops EM in 10ml
Tried real quick, refreshing!, now in the sitting drawer for a couple days...

Thanks, Icebob. I've got champagne from TPA. Hopefully that will suffice. I've got about 3 different varieties of lemon and lime. Surely one of those will produce the proper effect. I'm trying to replicate the MadVapes Lemon-Lime Soda. It's the closest I've tasted to Sprite or 7Up. This Koolada flavor, what is it?

it's more an additive than a flavor. it give the "cool" effect without the mint taste... feel just like you take your juice out of the fridge...

I read some where that the juice from MadVapes is made with the flavorings that they sell. Don't know if this is accurate or not. I got some of their flavors and some are very good but I'm not sure what to do with the lemon...it's kind of nasty to me. They are cheap though so pick up a few. Just make sure you also get caramel and mandarin orange from MV...those are delicious.

Any updates on this? Got some lemon/lime and champagne from TPA as well as the Koolada. Was just wondering what % anyone was using other than Icebob?

TPA lemon/lime is very strong so this is what i used and came out pretty good.

8% TPA Champagne
4% TPA Lemon/Lime
2% EM
1% Koolada ( optional but it does give nice cool vape and sweetens the mix a bit differently than EM )

Ok having problems with this one. But sure if it if the champagne but something us burning up in my carto very easily. Not sure if it is the champagne or the lemon lime. I can only vape this mix at very low volts.
