Hi, I have been vaping like 4 recipes that I am starting to get tired of and want something new, but I am having trouble finding recipes that looks exciting.

I like apple, strawberry, cookies, chocolate. Almost everything without mint/menthol

My ultimate goal is recipes that gives good flavour on the inhale and exhale. All suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

@lovevape88 I get tired of things so fast I never mix up more than a 60ML bottle even for the ones I use daily. Part of the fun with DIY is what I call mood mixes where I use standalone flavors I have perfected to make a 2ML tank of and vape. Not to hard to remember what I did a few minutes before. Just my opinion basely on real life personal experience you must remember. Good Luck!

I have found DIY to be most fun for me when (after reading a BUNCH of recipes to get the idea) when I create my own. I started out simple and combining in my tank to get the idea of things, quickly figured out what I was going to need/like, started combining in my tank, then made a large order of (small amounts) of flavoring, and I'm now doing 3 or 4 flavor recipes on my own. I have 15 or so steeping, and I'm excited for them.

It's just like cooking, once you get some of the building blocks down, you can experiment. Of course, there are TONS of great recipes to follow, if that's not your thing. But, I really enjoy "understanding" why and how flavors go together, so kind of decided to do it that way from the beginning. Guess I'll be seeing in a few weeks how things turn out, but I'm feeling optimistic.... I've usually found that flavor's I've hated, I could amend SOMEHOW and turn them into something vapable. Not giving up on a flavor has some usefulness-- what I did if I hated something was to divide it into smaller portions, then try adding some different flavors to see what happened.... I had nothing to lose at that point, KWIM? It's a lot of fun, honestly....

If you like simple DIY (with in many people's opinion...great results), you may want to try some of One Stop DIY Shop's "One Stop Flavors" and "One Stop Blends". They're concentrates that are made only for them, according to their specifications. They're ready to use singly in your own PG, VG, and nic base. Most ECF members who really like them, use between 6%-12% of any 1 of them in their eliquid. It varies though of course, with everyone's own personal tastes. Some use less and some use more.

My all-time favorites are the Lucky Shot, the Baked Cinnamon Roll, and the Lotta Latte. IMO, the Southern Sweet Tea, Pink Lemonade, and Strawberry Milk are also very good. I have quite a few others I haven't tried yet though, so my favorites may change! Mixing the Lucky Shot + Lotta Latte (about 5-6% of each)...is also extremely good! It was suggested to me by Kim, one of the OSDIY owners. I call it Caramel Latte since she had no name for it. It's been my main ADV for about 1.5 years now. Quite a few others here love it, too! In fact, if I'd discovered OSDIY's One Stop Flavors and One Stop Blends much earlier, I'd have probably not bought many of the 130+ other flavorings that I have from TFA, CAP, FA, etc.

OSDIY also has an on-going discount for ECF members. (Besides their "One Stop" flavorings mentioned above...they also carry TFA, CAP, FW, FA, and similar other name brand flavorings, too.) Using either the code ECF or JFK at Checkout will save you between 11-15% on your total order. They also have sales several times a year...usually 15% or more off.

I like real flavors Strawberry sweetened a bit with marshmallow. Real nice Strawberry flavor. Very potent though so don't use more than 2%
Real Flavors has a lot of great flavors and many are great standalone at 3.5%. Some of my favorites for standalone are aged bourbon cream, bread pudding, cookies and cream (and the deep fried version), deep fried spongecake, pumpkin pie, french toast, hazelnut, paczki, apple pie, etc. All of those also work great in recipes with some of their other flavors as well.

I'm pretty sure I have developed the absolute best strawberry e-juice ever!
I use a variety of strawberry flavors - that give a blended, well rounded, sweet, meaty, juicy, fresh picked taste with a touch of candy but not enough to be too candy-ish.
Just shake & vape and it's yummy!

Sweet Strawberry (CAP) 5% - Adds the sweet strawberry flavoring that is the base
Shisha Strawberry (INW) 3% - Gives it a more sweet outside layer of the strawberry
Strawberry Concentrate (INW) 3% - Gives it the meaty center of the strawberry flavor - the deepest flavor
Red Touch Strawberry (FA) 2% - Middle of the road between sweet and meaty
Strawberry Ripe (TPA) 1% - Gives it a more fresh picked flavor
Strawberry (FW) 1% - This can also be removed but I think it rounds out the middle flavors
Pink Square Candy (OOOF) 1% http://bit.ly/2yiMC2A - Gives it a slight candy flavor
Sweet Raspberry (TPA) .6% - Puts a bit of twang to the flavor
* Sometimes I add Strawberry (Medicine Flower) .2% - http://bit.ly/2ydi2FC - It's expensive but very concentrated so you dont need to use much

You can remove the Shisha Strawberry (INW) and increase the Strawberry concentrate (INW) to 6% if you want to cut down on the expensive flavors. It greatly changes the taste - but I really like the meaty taste

I've used the flavoring with various pg/vg levels - just mix it at what thickness level you like
And I have used everywhere between 9% to 1% nicotine levels, so mix it at your nic level
