What, no Capella flavors? LOL! Looks like you're getting into DIY in a big way!

I looked through some of my recipes and oddly enough, only one matches up with the flavors you have:

Cinnamon Pear
PA Pear 20%
PA Cinnamon 5%
50/50 PG/VG base

Allow at least 2 days for the Cinnamon to reach full flavor.

Small tip: if you have a lot of 4mL glass bottles, a reloader's tray for 20-gauge shotgun shells works nicely to hold 50 bottles.

Yeah, only recipe I know is the cinn. pear also!:) But, you could try maybe a raspberry caramel, apricot custard, that sounds good. I've made a tobacco with black sesame seed and I liked it. But beware, you only have to add the slightest hint of it, or else it will totally overpower the taste. A hazelnut tobacco would be good, too. What about orange liquer/black tea? I dunno, just throwing ideas out there. Seems like a lot of the DV stuff could be good on it's own, like the banana mint. Let us know how the parma violet is?

Hmm, seems like you didn't get any singular mint. When I first started, I didn't want any mint stuff, either, but now I love it. Best peppermint I've found is the FA. TPA's is kinda like toothpaste IMO. I like a melon mint. I haven't nailed down the percentages, but I think it's like 70% melon and 30% mint. Really good!

I also usually add TPA cotton candy (ethyl maltol) to almost everything.
I see you're in Hburg, not very far away from me, so if you need any extra stuff, just let me know.

Have any of you read the P&F articles on TFA's site? I was going to bug my friend who lives in CA to go to his local library and get a San Fran. library card for me, because it has access to online journals that are hard to get at most public libraries. I think P&F is on there too, so I am really going to have to do it now.

I don't know how strict this forum is about "intellectual property" so all I will say is that there is more good stuff you can find if you search for PDFs. One is more of a company overview, but it is specific to tobacco flavorists. It talks about the special concerns when the flavor is for smoke instead of just eating/drinking things but I wish it got into more detail.

Another was about what to expect starting a career working for a flavor company and one part talks about what to do to respect coworkers, like not wear perfume. It says: "Avoid smoking at work and all together if possible". And I was thinking.. or better yet smoke e-cigs and learn even more about flavors.

No Capella yet, I already went overboard. It's a lot to search through reviews to see how companies vary for the same name of flavor, but I am trying to get it organized. I'm kind of surprised that you guys can't come up with more, but no big deal heh. I accidentally didn't order a few things I meant to.

I'm using empty 6ml bottles right now and most of my samples are from 1stop so they are the same size. Maybe a 12-gauge tray would work for those. I have a hunting/fishing store near me so I will check it out.

Careful with the Cinnamon the taste will stay in your atty.

I'm sort of having PV issues so I am limited to a few 801's to drip for now. Thanks for the heads up, I'll probably end up with a cinnamon only atty. I'm staying away from anything that smells like it might be this way for now.

Peanut butter Cup 50% PB 50% Chocolate..adjust to taste

I made this before I even saw your post today! 2ml base, 4 drops of the bittersweet choc., 3 of peanut butter, 2 of EM. It was pretty weak and not tasty at all, reminded me of spray paint. All I really got was a touch of the dryness of the peanut butter. I added 3-3-1 drops and sat it back to steep. I think maybe the chocolate is really weak or not very good.

That one I tried first tonight after vaping some random cookie/coffee/catalan creme mixes that I just kept tweaking all day.

Last night I tried the Oba Oba and Liquid Amber with a little EM. I'm not sure what to say about the Oba for now... it's good but should probably be mixed, no clue with what or how to describe it well. The other really weird thing is how the flavor alone is very pale yellow, but as soon as it hits my nic base it turns pink and is even darker now.

The liquid amber definitely needs mixed with something, though it wasn't bad on it's own. It's relatively innocuous, herbaceous with citrus and apple notes. It reminded me of the woods at first... I think because this scent is used in some sort of bug spray. After I realized that, it kind of bothered me so I put it down.

Tonight I tried 4 more mixes I made the night before. First after I tried the PB spray paint was 2 ml base, 5 drops green tea, 2 drops liquid amber, 2 honey, 2 EM.

This wasn't a homerun but it was surprisingly tasty. I don't know if it was the leftover PB mix, but I felt the first few hits I got more tea and it was at its best. Maybe I will try again with more tea and just a touch less LA. The LA was detectable but it seemed to work fine. I think the overall "volume" on this one, as is, could be turned down a little and used with fruits or herbs.

Next, I tried just Pear at 15%, no sweetener. It was nice and clean but not as perfectly genuine as I hoped for. I'll probably try mixing it with a lot of fruits, maybe something really sour if I find one.

The pineapple seemed a little fake so I decided to throw some random flavors with it. 2ml base, 3 drops pineapple, 1 (regular) apple, 1 peach, 1 key lime, 2 sucralose. Maybe it's just because the flavor is weak, but it seemed muted in an unexpected way, like they all drowned each other out. Only at the end did some pineapple come through. It tasted like something I couldn't put my finger on, kind of like sweet tarts (sucralose?), kind of reminded me of a hospital but not in any bad way. I think I need to try all of these on their own to decipher it.

Last, I had 2ml base, 4 drops honeysuckle, 2 drops champagne, 2 sucralose. The honeysuckle is delicious and genuine. I can't tell what champagne added besides some throat hit. It didn't smell much like anything besides alcohol in the bottle. My atty started acting up so I stopped, but I want to try more stuff with HS.

IDK how you guys like cinna-pear but I will try it. I'll try your suggestions I can in my next batch, sounds good. My DV flavors aren't here yet and I'm scared to try the black tea because it smells just like gin as reviews said.

I saw your tobacco/sesame in the reviews. How much each do I want of sesame and 10% TA in PG for like 3ml base? I can tell the sesame is strong.

Good tip on the mint, but I do have mediterranean mint (nanna) on the way. I don't want toothpaste flavor. I smoked menthol forever then randomly went to regulars in my last year of smoking. I know a lot of regular smokers end up liking minty vapes.

I don't think I prefer the sucralose, but EM has a certain flavor to it and I was worried it would interfere with stuff like honeysuckle. I want to try stevia too. I don't think I need anything besides suggestions. I'd be happy to swap some flavors you want to try at the local meetup if I go though.

Can you let me know about a recipe for the
Tabaco absolute & Honey
That is what I am trying to get. I am still waiting on the rest of my order to get here that has the flavors. I got my 60mg PG base and my PG with no nic in yesterday. I mixed up a little with 70%pg and 20%vg at 24mg and 10% PGA and just a splash of Lorann Cherry and it is pretty good just needs some Tobaco absolute.

Honeysuckle is good on its own but I've used it a lot with champagne (probably more for throat hit than anything). HS is pretty genuine and not that weak, 10-15% is plenty to me. I've also been vaping a mix (didn't really measure), something like 10% green tea, 5% honeysuckle, splash of liquid amber, pear and EM. This came out okay, but I think the pear overwhelms other flavors.

I've been having like 1 problem after another with atties/PV etc. so I really haven't gotten to get into mixing nearly as much as I want to (don't want to put something weird in when I only had 1 good atty and stuff). I'll definitely get on the ball sometime in the next week and post more mixes though.

ssg_j how is lorann cherry? I'm apprehensive about trying any LorAnn, except maybe now that they have Naturals. The cherry in some pre-mixed I've had is either artificial or cough-syrupy, which I have no interest in. Decadent Vapor's sour cherry is probably going to be my go to. It tastes pretty close to cherry pie filling if you've ever had it straight out of the can, when I mixed it about 10% with a little EM.

I still haven't messed with TA yet. Someone told me (in the coffee thread) a blend with hazelnut that could probably be adapted. I want to say it was like 3 drops to 5ml TA (10% in PG), but I would have to check. Honey seems relatively strong to other flavors and there might be some sticking in the atty, but not bad. I think you could try that about as low a concentration as TA and move up to taste.

dspin, Violet I haven't tried yet at all. It doesn't seem like something I would even want to try but it got great reviews. As soon as I can get away with sampling more I will tell you. I have no idea what that might work mixed with.
