Recipes for Dummies

I make 1 of Bill's recipes that takes both Sweetener and Brown Sugar, and I love the taste of the resulting eliquid. But, as far as gunking up coils & wicks...it's the quickest to do so. I've decided I'll definitely lower the % of those 2 ingredients for my next batch in a week or so.

You may find the same with the Sweetener @ 3% and Brown Sugar @ 2% in yours. Just a heads up that if you can lower the % for 1 or the other, or both, you may not run into the same thing with your coils/wicks.

I was wondering if I substituted the Sweetener with Cotton Candy...

Cotton candy is usually straight Ethyl maltol. More of an additive than a true sweetener. It definitely brings out sweetness.

I have heard that this is easier on the coils and wicks. Not tried it myself as I try to use other flavorings to give me the sweet I need in my recipes.

I can vouch for it as a nice sweetener and you need very little (then again I avoid overly sweet). And the less gunk thing is a nice bonus.

Ordered. I don't use much sweetener. But, I hate gunking!

Yup. Too sweet is sickening. Better too little than too much.

the only sweetener I use anymore is pyure 0.25%, generally only in my fruit recipes.

I'm so sensitive to oversweet that I don't even use Sweet Cream. I sub Fresh Cream instead.

Yep! You can add more items (doing a separate order) for up to 24 hours and choose to combine them!

By the way, for the last 2 years, both WL and OSDIY have had a sale going either on April 15th (Tax Time) or right before or after it. So...might want to consider that when you order. I'm waiting for it to order a few things myself.

I have never had that and don't do lemon but real flavors makes a lemon cookie concentrate. It doesn't get any simpler than a one shot if it is to your liking.
