Hope I put this in the right spot.
I have just started recoiling my t3s heads and though I have been successful, I am not able to get the ohms that I am looking for. I am using kanthal 32 gauge wire 13.75 Ohms/ft and 2 mm silica (depending on the wrap I have been splitting the silica into individual strands and using 3-6.) Also, I am doing regular coils, not micro. My ideal ohm reading would be 1.8, but the lowest I seem to be able to get is 2.0. I have tried changing the number of wraps as well as the size of what I am wrapping it around. What am I doing wrong? Do I need a larger wire? Do I need to try a micro wrap? How do I do that? I was debating on the 32 or the 30 and decided on the 32 because I thought that was what was in the stock heads.
It will be a little while till I can afford more wire, so I'd like to make this work. Well... I guess it is working. 2.0 isn't my ideal, but it is vapable
I don't currently have a VV battery so I can't make adjustments that way. Thanks in advance for any input.
