As you can see there are a bazillion choices. My one piece of advice is to make sure vaping is for you before you dump a lot of cash into it.

This little kit plus a box of cartomizers and a drip tip is what I suggest for learning about vaping.

I second that reccomendation. It's what I got started with and it does not leave too much to desire. Sure a higher voltage to get a better vape....but that will come in time. Smok sells a duel coil cart for the ego that I like too.

I understand the variable voltage batteries now. As the battery on my cigalike gets low the hit gets worse. I said about the GreenSmokes
I'm using them till my new stuff gets here. I thank you all for all the advice, I'm trying this on a low budget so I went with Vape Dude's ego-O Ego Tank System - 1000mah. Two -1000mah batteries for $40 with shipping plus 30ml of fluid couldn't beat the deal. I may have to change cartomizers as one of the reviewers said, but it was hard to resist. Believe me I'm a perfectionist I will probably try all your recommendations before I'm satisfied, so I appreciate the time you took to read my thread and respond. I must say (I belong to a lot of forums) I have never had so much response for a simple question as I have on this forum I thank you. Normally I'm the one trying things out and responding to others who are just starting out. This is an Awesome Forum!!!! Thank You All!!!!

For a starter, you may want to invest in a pass-thru battery. Those are lifesavers! You use a USB plug from your battery you a wall outlet, or USB cigarette lighter jack you can use in your car and keep puffing away. I am in agony looking at these mods and realized to do a mod, you have to find a site where you can do some one stop shopping, delivery system (tanks), atomizers, atomizer parts (RBA), fuse, kick, batteries, or you will have 20 vendors bookmarked for each piece you need! RBA's (rebuildable atomizers) make me nervous! I am not an electrician!

I just got my first delivery and Vape Dudes Rock!!!! I may have a change of heart after a while but the starter kit was just what I needed. No leaks so far and two 1000mah batteries to boot. It was worth the $40 just to start out and I'll keep Vape Dudes on a bookmark for a long time to come.
