Ok so I have been vaping for a week now :toast:with no regular cigarettes.
One of the reasons I switched was to save money but so far its not happening LOL
I currently have a bolt mod and running a cartomizer on top, also just ordered a vivi nova tank to use, but one of my batteries malfunctioned and left me with one. I just ordered 2 better batteries but I am looking for a fairly inexpensive mod or something to have as a backup. I am not sure but something that is cheap and runs cheap batteries would be great.
Just checking here to see what good options are out there!

So what do you all recommend?

Sorry, but I have no 'mod' recommendations whatsoever.

I'll give you the same recommendation I give everybody, because this is what worked for me...I'm a former 510 system user. (Well, I'm a former every vaping system available user.... :)

My vaping tastes have evolved radically over the past few years but I've found the "GO-GO" Starter Kit a good bet for the following reasons;

IF you're SICK of messin' with inconsistent Atomizers and all the of tasteless 510 & eGo vapors, then this system WILL please you.

* Cost - $59.95 for complete two eCig starter kit with (five) pre-filled Cartos or (three) pre-filled Go-Tanks: GO-GO KIT

* Batteries last up to two days between charges (depending upon how heavily you vape)

* Go-Carts - (Go-Carts hold 3ml of Nic Juice & Go-Tanks can hold up to 2 ml. (I vape all day on 2-3 ml) - The Carts are really no muss, no fuss but once you've acclimated to vaping you should really switch to the Go-Tanks (GO GO PREMIUM TANKS) as the vapor, flavor and throat hit are unparalleled. I really do insist that in time you do this :thumb:

Be sure to order the PRE-FILLED Go-Carts when you re-order. (Five pre-filled Cartos will come with your Kit but you'll need to specify the flavor and strength. I recommend 24 mg nic strength so you resist the urge to go back to analogs. I also recommend the flavor "EASY-BORO-USA Mix" as I personally believe this tastes most like regular Tobacco. I loved Menthol when I was smoker... hate it with vaping, so this natural Tobbacco flavor would most likely suit you. You can obtain that here: EASY LIQUID 10ML BOTTLES 24MG

Wishing you the best of Luck.... hope you find your Vaping Nirvana as I did :vapor:

"If it ain't a Go-go, it's a no-go" ;)

Why not upgrade to a Vamo either from Smoktek or Healthcabin and you can still use your batteries.

If you want a good cheap backup these are great. Got mine last year and they are still going good. I threw away the plastic tips and use a vivi nova on them. They are 3.7v and you could do a lot worse. The charger works for the twist or spinner also. KGO kit1100mAh by SLB JUst checked looks like out of stock this is another good one a couple dollars more. http://www.hoosierecig.com/V2-KGO-Kit-1100mAh_p_367.html

Wow, Thanks everyone. It almost looks like I would be better off buying a vv mod and keeping my current bolt as a backup.
The one I have now was only $20 and I am worried its going to break and wont have anything else.
I was kind of thinking about running something that had easier or cheaper batteries as a back up but it really dont seem like there are to many options that are really inexpencive.
What are the pros/cons with a VV? That eGo VV looks pretty cool!!!

The Ego-T 18650 has regulated 3.3v and unregulated. You will get much longer time on this mod then you will on the Ego VV. The reviews I read said the battery life on the VV is about the same as a 650mah Ego battery when running at 3.7 and shorter when running at 4.2v.

I get 2 days off of my 18650 at the regulated 3.3v and about a day and a half in unregulated and I vape heavy.
