Hey guys,

I'm looking to upgrade from my clone hana modz v3 (30w). I predominantly use an atlantis v2, and this current mod cant really provide enough wattage to power my atlantis. since it is a clone, it is not really accurate with the voltage and thus doesn't provide a regulated vape on coils that are around 0.7 or lower, it will just run straight off the battery in the same fashion as a mechanical mod, and the ohm meter will flash. I am sure that an original would have no troubles.

anyway,

I have a budget of about $160, something that will happily vape my 0.3-1 ohm atlantis coils. I need LONG battery life (I want to be able to last from 7 am one morning to 7 am the next morning), as I'm quite sick of going out and having my mod run out of battery after a few hours.

I am currently thinking of the sigelei 150w, and the snow wolf 200. overkill? sure, but I'm okay with growing into it eventually.

I am considering the snow wolf because I know the TC is quite new introduction, and that in a few years it might become quite popular and I would probably feel like upgrading to a TC mod if I didnt already have one. surely, in a few years TC mods will have advanced a lot, and there will be better TC mods, but the snow wolf might be able to 'get the job done sufficiently' and I wouldnt have to upgrade right away. I could hold off until the 'next big thing'. much like my current mod, which was good when it came out, but with all the new higher wattage mods, my current mod, is just barely getting by.

In short,

what's the best I can get for $160ish

There are so many new mods out there and others that are just about to be released that look very promising. Vape tech is progressing quickly and just about anything that you buy will be obsolete before you know it. The Snow Wolf is a solid device and you can get a good deal now for under $100. Sigelei, Smok and Pioneer4You all have new mods that look promising. Even the IPV4 has been upgraded to 120 watts and can be set for nickel and titanium. Check out some of the latest reviews on YT before you take the plunge. Also, Evolv just released the DNA 200 board. The resulting mods will probably be out of your budget but get ready for the new wave of copycat devices out of China!

I don't have any of these, but have been researching new mods for myself and I don't believe you can go wrong with either of your choices. Sigelei has a long proven track record and is coming out with a higher wattage temp control, There is also the new IPV 3LI that is 165 watts upgradeable to 200. I am not sure about this one but it looks nice.
You don't have to buy just 1, get one and then later get the other. they are like potato chips, you can't have just one.

I'm with ya on TC for the moment although I did get a better vape out of my DNA 40's and IPV. The technology is moving and will only pick up speed for the time being. I got the Sig. 150 and love it. With my orchid and a .5 3mm 26 gage dual coil build I get 2 days easy between charges around the 30w range. My super tank with a .2 at 75w is good for a day and a half for me. I got mine to my door for $64 from wake and vape with a coupon code I found on vaping cheap. Your budget leaves the field pretty much open for you though alot of nice mods can be had both TC and non.

There are some deals to be had right now on kanthal mods.

Sigelei 100W+ for $57 shipped from Elev8 using code "5off".

Sig 150W for $63.99 from wakeandvape, but I'm not sure what the code is that gets you $30 off.

You could pick up one of those and save your extra $100 as you wait to see what happens with tc.

Or:

Snow Wolf, IPV4, new Sig 150W tc, new IPV3li.

if wakeandvape shipped to australia I'd get that sig 150w just for the hell of it at that price and then a TC mod later on
