Recommend Mechmod for 18650

I'm looking for a reliable "short" Mechmod for a Sony VTC4 18650 battery and looking for recommendations. It will be paired with a Kanger Subtank Mini.

He can't use a hybrid with the Subtank. Sucks, cause I love my tiny little smpl mods.

Stingray X. Pretty small for an 18650. But, right, don't use the hybrid connector with the Subtank unless you want to have a pipe bomb go off in your hand. It has a regular top cap, too. Use that

What Roxy said. The Stingray X is about an inch shorter than my Nemesis' - Nemesis plural - whatever lol...Smooth, short throw, floating header pin, the Infinite Stingray X is my favorite mod.

But I'm a little confused by the question. Iif you're using an 18650 battery, I don't know how you're gonna go super short. If you wanna go short, use an 18350? (and get two, cause they peter out pretty quick..)

I would go on various sites like 101vape, eciggity, royaltyvapes, etc. You'll get an idea of what's available.

Like the other members said. Do not use hybrid adaptors with the subtank.

Sorry, I should have said sleek instead of short. Thanks for all the suggestions, I ended up going with a Tree of Life clone. It came with three battery tubes (18350, 18500, 18650) and it's nice to have options. I think it's very similar to the Stingray. I found it at a local B&M on sale so that helped sway my decision.

TOL has a 20x1mm thread so you can use hybrid atties and do away with that top cap.

Shortest one I found for the 18650 is the Kato box mod.

Why shouldn't we use hybrid top caps with the Subtank? Just got one last week and I've been using it with my Fortune Mod. I Didn't notice any potential problems with it.

Subtanks and whatnot don't have the center 510 pin extending past the threading, which means using with a hybrid setup will cause a hard short and possibly blow your ... up.
