I've been vaping for 2 months now. Currently, I'm using (2) 150MaH KR808D's from V2 (I know, I probably overpaid, but the lifetime warranty got me). I've been reusing carts and refilling with freedomsmokeusa stuff. Overall, I think the KR808 is "ok".

I would like something that lasts longer (I am going through both batteries each day and have been stranded numerous times), and I would like something to where I feel the cart is more reliable. I refill carts, and feel like I have no control over them. The vapor comes out differently for the same juice, and I feel I waste a lot of juice since the carts last 3-8 refills and it's never consistent before you get a burnt taste or the coil just dies. Last, I would like something that gives just a tadbit more vapor/TH than the KR808 (the manual KR808 is ok, the auto sucks).

So, any suggestions for something longer lasting, more reliable, and better vapor?

I was thinking maybe a Joye eGo-T (900mah LR?, low VG is a turnoff though, I like 50/50), or Joye 510-T (with VaporKing's XL battery)?

Thanks for any feedback!

Have you considered using KR808D-1 manual standard size batteries instead of the shorties? The shorties are 180mah and the standards are 280mah for 60% more charge. $10 each at LiteCigUSA.net (fancier colors for more cost at Vapor4Life.com)

I use the Vapor4Life WOW carto blanks and with a THIN clear juice (like 80pg/20vg - no more vg than that) and alternating use of 2 cartos I get at least 2 weeks good use out of the WOW carto. What I never even do is run them dry. That's a good way to singe the stuffing and ruin a carto. I keep the carto damp with liquid the entire length of time I reuse it.

And for very long charge batteries for KR808D-1 threading you need to go fat battery or mod - see LeCig's PigCig or CigEasy's Elegant Easy or you could ask Liberty-Flights.com (only - since I know Litecig's does not) as Liberty if their Riva 901 has a slotted battery pole and has good airflow for KR808D-1 cartos. These things should all have 650mag+ of battery charge.

Or you can go 3.7v mod (usually 510 threaded) and put an adapter on it for KR808D-1

Quite a few people are echoing about the new Echo automatic with a large cone cartomizer. Plus I think it has the same threads as the Kr808. This is relatively new and resembles the Ego type style. I saw info on this in the "model specific discussion" under "Ego". Sounds like a great and easy set-up. It's a two piece that both parts (battery and carto) last most the day. Look for Tumbleweed's thread on the Echo.

I personally started with a kr808 and switched to an ego tank style system (technically a volcano inferno but the differences are minor) I could personally never get a good vape off of the system, draw was way to tight for me and even when they came out with the LR's they didn't really produce enough vapor, The ego is a great system but imho it works better if you use cartomizers or any number of options for 510 threaded atomizers, either with cartridges or dripping. after doing a bit more research I would probably recommend a Riva 510 from liberty-flights, they have both atomizer and cartomizer options so you can choose which one you would rather go with and the kit should come in under 50 bucks. the 510 thread is nice since in my experience they are the easiest to find new accessories for.

A plain 510 is no more battery charge than you currently have. Is that what you want? It is also less voltage than you currently have - 3.2-3.4 for the 510 and 3.7 for KR808D-1

Re tanks - they like no more than 30% VG from what I have heard.

There are mega xl 510's which are longer and 280mah (60% more charge). I think the manuals are very nice because they are totally sealed metal on the end. You can drip with a drip tip (on a normal 510 atty, not tank atty), refill cartos, etc and no worry about any juice leaks reaching the inside of the battery. I love vaping Boge cartos on them but you need to use standard resistance because the battery is less than 450mah. With an Ego you can use standard or the hotter LR cartos. but still an Ego has less voltage than a KR808D-1.

I would not put KR8 cartos on a 510 or Ego though because the 510/Ego is less voltage and would not fire them as well and KR8 batteries do. I just bought a little 3.7v box mod to have something 3.7v w/ long battery charge to also vape my KR8 cartos on w/ a 510 to 808 adapter. I've also heard the Vapor4Life KR8 cartos work very nicely on variable voltage mods (mine is just a 3.7 mod)
