As the title states. I am looking for a VW setup that will display the ohms of the coil and fits the kanger EVOD (pro tank I guess) head.

What is the best value for the money.

My personal opinion it would be either the iTaste VV 3 or the iTaste MVP 2. Or both as I have. They are both fairly cheap. On the MVP the Protanks have a slightly tighter draw on the MVP than on the VV. Both work well with my Protank II and my Mini Protank 2. I use both devices daily.

For best bang for your buck.....

I just picked up the new MVP 2.0 energy series with their new color scheme. I have the frost version.

Available here: Good vendor Great price Fast and Free shipping
Authentic Innokin Itaste MVP 2 0 Energy with New iClear 16B Starter Kit | eBay

I also have the iTaste vv3. It has the same capabilities as the MVP2 in a smaller ego style form factor and smaller capacity.
Itaste VV 3 0 Starter Express Kit Authentic Guranteed The Latest wth More Rivets | eBay

This vendor is great and offers fast and free shipping.

It has 510 and Ego Threading so it will be great for the Evod or Protank

While I still like to use my smaller 800mAh iTaste vv3's at work or in the car, however their smaller capacity means I often have to charge it more than once a day if I'm using it constantly throughout the day.

The 2600 mAh MVP does not have this problem.

I think the iTaste VV3 and the MVP 2 are a knockout combo. The VV3 for out and about and the MVP 2 for at home. They both vape identically other than capacity so you won't lose any quality when you are away from the MVP 2.

Drill out thr beauty ring holes so they align with your protank airholes. Do you use a collar on your vv3.0 when you don't use the mini2?

I just purchased my Innokin VV3 on a Black Friday sale at Desert Vapes and have been very pleased. I was wanting an extra ego battery, ego pass-thru, wanted to play with Variable Wattage, and needed an ohm checker. VV3 gave me all that for price of an ego-c Twist battery and it uses the same charger as my cell phone & bluetooth. Now I want another one!

I've sanded down the top of the beauty ring as it was butting up against the bottom of the Protank. It helped but it's still tighter than I like it. I was going to drill the holes but I don't have the drill bits to progressively drill out the holes until it's good. I only use the collar with the protank on my vv. There's a decent gap between that ring and the tank. That's why I started by sanding the top of the MVP ring. I hear drilling the holes in the Protank base works too but that'll be the last thing I try.

Also the grooves in the top of the 510/Ego connector on the vv are deeper than on the MVP. Covering more of the air holes in the base of the Protank 2.

Yer know what I don't like about my iTaste VV 3... I really like the thing in general, but the one thing I don't like is the battery warning. When it goes yellow, it's not long before it's red, and the off.

I've found that, if I'm out n' about, if it goes yellow, I've got an hour to get it on charge, maybe less.

Anyone else find that?

And apart from that (and not wanting to hi-jack the thread), what sort of size are you after OP (numus)? The recomendations for the iTaste VV 3 and MVP are good, but they're quite small, and don't have the battery life you'll get out of an 18650 powered APV. On that, I have a Tesla, and find it awesome. Only about $50.

Only got to the first reply and have to respond with a agreement.

I love the VV v3, works great for what it is, a compact battery with VV/VW capabilities. The MVP 2.0 is also great for a larger battery.

But what I wanted to point out is that the Mini protanks on a MVP 2.0 work well if you leave the beauty ring in place to help control the air flow. The ring tightens up the draw a bit, making it (in my opinion) a better vape. Still not a great vape, since I'm not a fan of Protanks, but a better vape than it was before.

For the record, I also use both the VV v3 and MVP v2 daily. I actually have two VV v3s that I swap out as a portable while I use my MVP almost exclusively at home.

I've noticed the same thing on my VV's. When the fire button goes yellow, get to a charger quick. That's why I have 2. ;)

As for the MVP it's got a 2600mah battery in it, which is pretty good against an average 18650. Sure you can get 4k mah 18650s, but that's more than anybody SHOULD use on a PV. I'm a chain vaper, and my MVP (in the situations where I've used it all day) actually lasts me more than a whole day. Well into the next in fact, almost the whole 2nd day.

Oh! Just thought of another good thing about the VV v3 / MVP 2 combo. If you prefer the VV... you can charge it off of your MVP! HAH! How's that for a slice of fried gold?!
