Recommendation please

Hi everyone

I tried E cigarettes a while back but didn't feel that they gave me the same experience as a regular cigarette maybe as they were too mild,and gave off very little "Smoke"

I see that some come in a 16 mg option now,which would probably work better for me.

I currently smoke 1mg Dunhill.

Can anyone recommend anything as I have no idea what to buy?

Also what's the idea of the teabags that i saw in a video,couldn't get the point there?

Great thread - that 1st time vaper one. One other option (and only if you want a lighter airier hit like an ultralights smoker might) might be a DSE901 (or its fat battery model Riva 901). But if you get either of the two in that article you could also use a 901 atomizer and carts, either on the KR8 with no adapter or on the 510 with an adapter.

I didn't read that whole article, but if you need a more powerful hit from Low Resistance parts or need super-long battery charge, there are fat battery versions of each (with different charger).

I think I would need the highest strength one available as I would need a good "Hit" from it and lots of "smoke" to "Kid" myself i'm still smoking a real cigarette.

Well there's a LOT of options. Depending on what you're after, you would a want a KR808 or a 510... maybe a eGo or Riva... or even a 5v mod. Tell us what you DID try, so we know where to start.

Personally, I started with a 510, but the battery life drove me crazy while chain vaping, so I went to an eGO. I love it to death, but I'm still thinking about a 3.7 mod with LR attys or a true 5v. Like I said there's a lot of options.

I too am fairly new but here is my experience...

1. Go with the eGo or Riva...I think the battery life on some of the smaller cig like look or "pen-style" e-cigs would drive me crazy and make me feel like I have a part time job. Usually one Riva 510 Battery lasts me all day and I don't have to worry about switching them out or carrying a charger. The vapor is nice and the TH is really good on 24mg nic juice.

However, I am pretty comfortable with having a device that has a manual button (Please reference the links from Numevexo as that information really is unbelievably helpful) and doesn't necessarily have the same exact feel as a cig. It really isn't much bigger, but for some folks it may seem very foreign. I for one was just not hell-bent on replicating the sensation of smoking a cigarette and rather wanted a nic and "smoking" habit substitute.

2. Juice, juice is the key..until you find a juice that you like it will be more difficult to really enjoy substituting vaping for smoking. My advise is to order multiple juices (likely different flavors, nic levels and from different vendors) to just find out what you are going to enjoy. I really thought I'd like tobacco flavors, but after trying my first one I was very quickly drawn toward the other flavors as I enjoyed them more than my regular cigs. Allow yourself to try different things and you'll find something you'll like.

3. Do your research...

on youtube I found Doctor Vapor and MistressNomad's videos to be REALLY helpful.. and occasionally Moobyghost and ShanB's videos were great too..

I've only tried two e-cigs so my opinion is not entirely credible. I tried a crappy disposable e-cig that I bought from a bar, which didn't satisfy me. But I did some research before deciding to buy another one, and found out that big battery e-cigs are the way to go. I got the Volcano Inferno which is an Ego-style unit. I recommend it with the Magma cartomizer (a 510 cartomizer) instead of using the atomizer that comes with it.

I've only been at it for a week now. Started with 18mg and it just wasn't enough. Moved to 24mg with some 36mg for morning and after meals. These work great and I really haven't been tempted to lite up even during the Bears loss yesterday.

I started with the V4L K808 based 2 part system as it's very easy. However the bug bite me to try different stuff. I now have a Ego and some juice on order.

I will second both of those! I buy any hardware I can from Liberty Flights, they are just a top notch supplier, I can't say enough good things about them. FSUSA has been great too. They shipped my liquid fast, included a free 3ml sample in my order, and all signed the packing slip, which was just a nice little touch.

I was worried about weakness and lack of hit as I smOked large cone shaped rollups with no filter. For my first vape i purchaced a pure smoker v3 it takes 2, 3 or 3.7 volt cells you can get off ebay cheap they are used for torches and cameras and as you need a spare set or two this was a cost thing for me. The throat hit and vapour is huge and all my mates are going nuts for a go and all say 18mg juice is like a regular fliter ... hit. The house gets to cloudy it gives of so much vapour.

Also people who had smaller units have asked me to order them one as it gives a better vaping hit. The price is high at first but by the time a smaller unit has killed 3 battery and caused you lack of pleasure with little vapour and throat hit you have got your money back. the v3 I use has no electronics to go wrong batterys are easly sourced and cheap and it works great.

Any 5,6,6.8 or 8 volt system will kick ... over smaller units and I would recomend them to anyone as a starter outfit as you get what you want from day one. Who wants a smaller e cig sat in a drawer unused as it was not fit for purpose. Spend a little more first off and vape safe in the knowlege you made a wise economic and practical choice.
