Hello all,

I have been using a 4081 for the last two months and for the most part it is great. There was the break-in period, both for the unit and for me( I had to learn the proper way to draw from it). Anyway, I am thinking about getting another model, not as a replacement, but one that might better suit different usage levels. I am finding that I vape more often than I did smoke. It is not uncommon for me to pick it up and not put it down for twenty or so minutes. The 4081 works best when used for a short time and then allowed to rest.

Now that I have an idea about my vaping habits I would like a pv that works best for me. I am thinking about getting a custom/mod unit like the Screwdriver or mini-chuck in 3.6v. I like the look, and battery life. I have no experience with HV, but I prefer reliablity and don't want to run through attys. If I choose a mod unit is one atty style better than another? 901 vs 510 for example.

If I don't choose a mod then I would probably go for the pen style and a pass through when at home, possibly in the car. The 901 and be-112 have been the models that have good reviews and feedback.

From reading on the site many users have followed this path and any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are many good 3.6/3.7V and 5V mods and we don't explicitly promote any particular ones. They basically come in two styles - the box mod (Nicostick, Janty Stick, Bartleby, JuiceBox) or the 'in line battery' tube types (Screwdriver, Prodigy/Protege, Chuck, etc.) Some offer a PT or charging cord that can be used in stationary situations and some don't. So you don't necessarily have to get only the 'non-mod' PT's in order to have that capability. Of course the non-mod PT's will be less costly in most cases. So if you're considering a mod, you might search out those that also have a PT or usb connection for when you're at home or in the car.

The 510 atomizer is the one that is used by the majority of mod users:

... but now with the available adapters, users are no longer pinned to the original model's atty. Altsmoke and heaven gifts have a wide variety of adapters, now include one for the 4081 at heaven gifts. Other vendors, Nhaler, Vapor4Life, eg. have some adapters for the models they sell.
