Hey ya'll. I mainly use carto tanks for the connivence, but have heard so many good things about genesis style tank attys. Anyone have a suggestion on where to start if i want to give it a try? How does the vape compare?
You can try The Phoenix. It's a bit small to work on and the tank is a bit small. Should be able to find one on the cheap.

Let me know how to RSST compares to the AGA. I was in a CoOp for it and then fell out cause of CC fraud locking up my card. I looked around and found a vendor for it at $40 but wondering if its worth the money when the AGA is only $25.

you bet man...I got it because i had seen it in Pbusardo's site...looked good ...real polished and well made...I like the pre insulated hole and the whole bottom of the tank is insulated...going to try some non oxidized wicks and geeez man the freakin wick hole is huge ..gonna roll a fatty for that.

I have the AGA-T+, the cobra from siam mods, the z-atty u, and various hybrid mods. So for its hard to compare all genesis style atties some have more setups available like the cobra and bliss (dual-coil :0) but the cobra has a really tight air hole which is modifiable. i find that for the price of the aga its a good deal and like many have said start by learning to build your coil and wicks and be patient it take time but before you know it you will be experiencing a whole new side of vaping. Good Luck

Was wondering if the top cap is loose on the rsst? and did like the fact that the tank is fully insulated

Did he do a review for it? Let me check it out.

I imagine the RSST would be better for newbies since hot spots wont be much of an issue with the insulated tanks. If all goes well it could jump start the community into Genesis style.

Im still on the fence about big wicks dude. I rolled a 100mm 500 mesh wick once, rolled it so tight it fit the AGA (yeah, thats right!) and it just tastes so burnt. My theory is that with the wick so thick the juice takes a while to reach the surface. But im gonna try again - i read that some peoples wicks can hold 1ml by itself. If thats the case, you would never have wicking issues again, the wick is like a little tank inside your tank :D

Also, are you sure it is polished? I was under the impression that it is brushed. I have a brush steel mech coming and was planning on using that with my RSST.

busardio did not review it yet..its in the cue to be reviewed ...he did post some pics and a few comments though.

and when i said polished i meant quality brushed...like there was a good even finish...even around the orings and posts it seemed to be brushed really well.

i also like the frosted tank ,looks pretty cool... yeah if it turns out as good as the reviews are ( no one likes to say they bought a POS)
I want to do a fat solid coil with 500 mesh...ive got 400 straws in both my genny's now i have no complaints ...just want to experiment

so it seems like the aga-t or the did mini clone are good starting places. so what should i use to get started in terms of mesh and wire? i have a k100. I know it is all mechanical, is this dangerous to use as a beginner?

I would meter the coil before i fired it...just so you know its not shorted or grounded...I would strongly suggest at least a 5/4 wrap (4 full wraps with half wrap at top and bottom)...I would start with a 400 mesh and 32 gauge kanthal a1 wire...this combo of wraps and mesh and wire should get you right at 1.8- 2.0 ohms...also there are TONS of videos on you tube...watch as many as you can stand and pay attention to the things they all have in common...Good luck to you...go for the AGA-T ...its a great devise and beginner friendly.

also if you get this going and everything is working but you feel the vape is to thin or the flavor is weak...re check the coil with the meter and if it has jumped up a bit check your screw tightness and pos post tightness...

Personally, I would recommend you get either a vapesafe or shortstop fuse. Better to be safe than sorry. Just my opinion.
