I'm looking for some suggestions/recommendations on a starter kit. I've had a couple blu disposables, and the blu starter kit. I also had a V2 using both "factory" flavors and juice for a short time.

The main things i'm looking for are:
Included PCC (or even optional), which can hold a fully assembled unit, carts, and battery
Ability to switch to refillable carts (clearomizer) without sacrificing PCC fitment.

Extras that would be nice:
Variety pack of "factory" flavors in the kit
Compact, around the size of a standard 100.

Anything pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. :)

Hi tx and welcome. May I ask you first why you're not using your Blu and V2 kits anymore?

The V2 I tend to have issues carrying. Which is the same reason I'd like to find a PCC that can also hold an assembled unit.

I do a lot of bending, lifting, and generally moving around at work, and also tend to exchange things between pockets throughout the day. This usually results in me dropping the unit, or end up getting it covered in metal shavings or dents. (I work in a machine shop).

I had a PCC for the V2, but it only held carts and batteries. No assembled unit. Which meant either re-assembling several times or having a "floating" unit in my pocket.

The blu is just not that great IMO. Essentially zero "hit" with their carts, low vapor, and the batteries go dead very quickly. But the PCC is basically exactly what I am looking for.

The problem is that Blu has sort of proprietary threading--you can use 510 threaded cartos on Blu batteries, but you can't use different chargers due to reverse polarity. So don't try to get an after market PCC for the Blu.

So you're looking for a new brand of super mini e-cigarette?

Yes. I have no intention of sticking with blu at this point, unless it turns out to be my best option.

The closest i've found is the 510L from firstvapor.
But first-hand opinions seem slim and I'm not sure that I could switch to something like clearomizers down the road without losing the ability to use the PCC.

A super mini size isn't necessarily required. I'm willing to deal with a bulkier packet if it gets me the convenience I'm looking for with the PCC

Pretty much dropping the idea of getting one with a PCC.

On the search now for a higher quality/larger unit (such as suggested above) which has a carrying case available that can hold an assembled unit, carts, and a spare battery.

You can get a PCC for your Blu e-cigs...

Electronic Cigarette Pack - Black | E-cig Accessories | FREE SHIPPING

Try that little kit I suggested--see if you like it first. It's just a 8 bucks + shipping. If you like it and are comfortable with the size and performance, you'll be able to get a nice kit--or just add stuff a la carte. And there are dozens of nifty little cases for eGo-style batteries.

Welcome to the forum......

IMO, you should just upgrade from cigarette type devices. The batteries never last long and you dont really have any option to upgrade. They are what they are...just cheap devices for people on the fence about vaping. Dont get me wrong, they have helped many people quit smoking.

The Aspire kits seem to have all the bells and whistles at a decent price. They are bigger devices but you get better runtime, adjustable voltage, and airflow control. The tank is glass but you can purchase a stainless steel covered glass tank. The changeable BVC coils last along time. You would have to buy e-juice as there is no prefilled cartos but you will have more of a flavor selection because you are not limited by pre-filled cartomisers

Aspire Kit : Aspire online shopping

You can find these kits cheaper from online venders rather than buying direct from Aspire.

If this had a storage compartment for when it's disassembled I would order it right now just for the techie aspect. Love the display lol

??? You don't disassemble the MVP2--it's just a box-shaped battery (2600mAh) that, I have a feeling, will last you three days without needing to be recharged. You just screw a topper on, well, on top. :D

You can use any case you like to keep/tote your vaping gear around. Even that eGo case above will hold the MVP, several tanks, bottles of juice and the USB charger.

They can also be had in pretty colors--or you can wrap them.

If one of those carrying pouches can hold these that might be an option.

Long battery makes recharging a non-issue. And the size is actually a plus. It keeps it from falling out of my pocket easily or being forgotten on a table.

Downside is that it looks like a breathalyzer :p.

I really dont think you can go wrong with an Ego twist starter kit. Pack yourself on an Aerotank or Aerotank mini and you will be vaping like a champ. THe Vision spinner is another good starter. Both of these are VV (variable voltage) so you can get those babies set just like you want them. I would also recommend the 1100mah batteries over the smaller ones just because they last longer. If you need a good link to find these just hit me up and I can hook you right up!
